is nwakali good enough to make liverpool first team? you were the one who mentioned solanke by comparing him to nwakali not iheanacho. you know he is a striker then why bring him up in this argument? since you want to compare a striker to a midfielder oya btw both who had a better stint in the eredivisie?
TheSuperNerd:

Yeah, something special by leaving him out of matchday squads... I can see how special that is. Lol

And in the eredivisie, Solanke, as a striker, was less than impressive abeg. I remember when The Nacho-Solanke debate was on and we established the simple fact that Solanke underwhelmed in more minutes of football while Nacho excelled in lesser minutes of football.

And since the eredivisie journey, how exactly has he progressed? By being constantly frozen out of matchday squads? Is that your idea of Progress?

Nwakali is a Midfielder... And Arsenal deemed him good enough to purchase and even try refuse a buy back from Porto in the Porto loan deal. Porto insisted that only if they included a buy back would they consider taking Nwakali... Porto and Arsenal rates Nwakali highly so one of them had to budge. If that does not tell you something then I give up on your case. Lol

And for the records, Solanke is languishing on the outskirts of the Liverpool matchday squads aiit. He has not impressed at all.

Oga there is nothing special about solanke

He went to vitese and he got game time and he got 7 goals in 25 matches

Nwakali did not get much game time at holland

Yes nwakali might have been poor, but don't come here and rub a Dominic solanke in our face,a below average player.

Why would they include a player in their preseason tour when he has no permit to feature for Arsenal in the new season? undecided Are you even listening to your own question?
The lad just came off the back of a fine half season with MVV in the summer and had to await his next step in his development as we all knew it would be another loan since he has no permit for the Arsenal team in the first place? So why waste time including him in preseason when other Gunners youngsters eligible abound?

They wanted his next step sorted and they got it done but not without some resistance from Porto who INSISTED on a buy back for Nwakali to be included for them. Initially, Arsenal never agreed but they had to budge because they needed the player to move and get more playing time which VVV Venlo never gave him in the first half of the 2017/2018 season (before his January move to MVV where he impressed yet again) despite impressing on his debut in a 15 mins cameo. If you cannot see the truth, then you really have a lot of work to get your head out of the ass of the facts twister doing your thinking for you. wink

i never told you billing is a creative midfielder but a cm/dm who will offrer more presence in our midfield if called up. i only said eze and iwobi are the best bet for the am position. nwakali starts for the 2nd team of porto B and so bloody what? he was unplayable in the dutch 2nd tier but was never voted s the leagues MVP or MVV's MVP at the end of the season abi such recognition no dey exist for the league? make Marca's rating they blind una. was ejaria in marca's list? but he is having a better career progression than someone who made the list, isn't that funny?
TheSuperNerd:

Oga I strongly suggest you pay closer attention to your views because I see someone else here does enough of your thinking... Lol

You have been dropping and agreeing with lots of lies and fallacies... First you said Nwakali was a bench warmer at Porto B. That have been debunked and proven false.
Funny thing is you lack in-depth info on K.Nwakali's progress from his MVV days in 2016/2017 which got him into Marca's 2017 radar and later on into Goal International's 2018 radar.

Then you went on to be calling for Billing without understanding that Billing offers no creativity. We have similar players to Billing but he would still be a good addition no doubt but not in the creative Dept.

Next you agree that Marca 2017 rating of Nwakali was on the back of his 2015 showing in The U-17s.. mehn.. I have even lost counts of how many times you have dropped or agreed to fallacious statements and viewpoints. Abeg pay more attention to your points of views... It will do you good.

Of course you won't understand the logic. Arsenal had to look at youngsters they are considering at present for the first team for the 2018/2019 season. Players that were eligible for the season and for the cup competitioms especially. Nwakali even if given a chance to tour with Arsenal won't feature for Arsenal in 18/19 season so why waste that time? Simple logic but you laugh out loud because someone else does most of your thinking for you. So many loopholes in your viewpoints and info about K.Nwakali... shows you know almost nothing about this kid.

In our CM/DM roles, we are stacked with Options so Billing may have to wait a bit longer (also consider he needs to siwtch allegiance). He cannot displace Ndidi, Etebo or even an Onazi at this point. Those lads are way ahead of Billing in talent and experience.

But for our AM role, K.Nwakali is an option and can prove a savvy one too. This is why when you ask why Billing was not called up and why Nwakali was called up... It only exposes your little or no understanding of what Rohr is trying to accomplish or address.

Billing offers nothing creatively so would it be wise to call him up because he plays for Huddersfield in the EPL when we already have more than enough CM/DM guys? See? Think man... Think. smiley

Billing's time will come but right now, we got another midfield matter to try address and Billing is not suited for it.

I have followed this nwakali debate for a while on this thread so much so I don't even know which camp I belong.

But I notice ur strongest point against Nwakali is that he plays in the 2nd tier of Portuguese football.

So let me ask: what if he plays for an NPFL club say Sunshine stars, would his call up then be reasonable to u?

Sunshine stars and Porto B, which in ur opinion has the better quality ?

To even spice this up further, what if he plays for an NNL side like shooting stars (think of someone like Faleye been called up to the national team) would that have raised any eyebrow

Again what if he plays in the top flight in Sudan(Mohammed ) or Gabon (Friday Ekpo) or CIV(Yekini) would you have raised any questions ?

Are the top teams in the aforementioned countries better than Porto B in ur opinion.

Super Eagles To Lodge At Savoy Hotel Resort Victoria For Seychelles Clash
September 2, 2018 2:46 pm

Super Eagles will be lodged at the Savoy Hotel Resort and Spa in Victoria ahead of Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Savoy Hotel Resort and Spa is a four star hotel situated at the Mahe Island and it’s a 25 minutes drive from the Seychelles International Airport.

According to a media statement from the Nigeria Football Federation made available to Completesportsnigeria.com, Turkey –based forward Henry Onyekuru will be the first player to arrive at the team’s hotel on Monday morning as Nigeria begin preparation for Saturday’s clash with the Pirates of Seychelles.

The Galatasaray SK forward is expected to land in Victoria on the island of Mahe at 11am on Monday.

He is expected to be joined

by Enyimba goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa, who will arrive with the Nigeria-based members of the technical crew and backroom staff two and half hours later.

Other invited players on the 24-man roster will arrive at the team hotel on Tuesday, with one group to come in before breakfast and another group expected at lunchtime.

Rohr has included three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and seven forwards in his list for the crucial match, with four other players on standby.

The Super Eagles are third in Group E behind Libya and South Africa after losing their first game to the Bafana Bafana.

The match-day 2 encounter on Saturday kicks off at 4.30pm Seychelles time (1.30pm Nigerian time), with both teams in need of the three points after losing their respective openers to the campaign 15 months ago.

William Troost Ekong starts yet again for Udinese Calcio in their serie A game vs Fiorentina. He is becoming a mainstay.

Fiorentina have a young French goalie I have mentioned once before many many pages back who started for Toulouse in Ligue 1, Alban Lafont. He is now Fiorentina's number 1.

On Awoniyi, he is not included in Gent's matchday squad for their Jupiler league tie against Cercle Brugges.
