We may still have a chance with him. But timing is all that matters. I hope that by the time the NFF approaches the lad strongly, it won't be too late. Like I always love to say... Time will tell Humility017: 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: Did Kelechi Nwakali win one MOTM in the Eredivisie? Mbanu! Did Dominic win one MOTM in the Eredivisie? See for yourself. 7 goals and one assist in 24 games from a 17 years old lad just coming from an academy tells alot. No wonder Chelsea retained him the next season. The rest dey say his history. 2 Likes 1 Share

forgiveness: Egbon... You know me. I choose my discussions. I won't go down this path okay. K.Nwakali never got a full game at VVV. He was never given a chance in nine games aiit. Only two of his games were mere starts (which saw him contribute to their win and draw) while the rest were time scraps of 14, 15, 11 mins and so on + he scored on his debut. He is a Midfielder... But Solanke on the other hand... Well, I think you should be more worried about his absence from Liverpool's matchday squads these days... I guess that says much for his high quality. TheSuperNerd: Then stop passing falsehood. Ok! Kelechi Nwakali started 3 games. What did Kelechi Nwakali do with the three starts out of the 9 games he played? How can I worry about a player who moved from Vitesse straight to Liverpool? I think we should worry about a player who moved from Eredivisie to Dutch division and now to Segunda Liga. A league lower than Socttich league. 3 Likes 1 Share

Lol... What is false in saying that Solanke underwhelmed in over 20 games with more than enough game time? While Nacho in same season was excellent in far less game time? Was that not the Nacho-Solanke debate back then? SO WHAT IS FALSE? And yes, just a slight error of counts, Kelechi started ONLY THREE GAMES. Even that 45 mins in that record is him coming in as a sub in second half. 3 mere starts scattered throughout... What is that? AND DID HE LOSE ANY GAME IN HIS STARTS? NO!! So what nonsense are you even saying about the lad? It only bites you that Solanke's obviously average season in the eredivisie is so true. And you wanna use K.Nwakali, who had the littlest of game times in comparison, as cover to make Solanke excellent when he was actually poor or being more lenient, bang average. Abeg... I don't repeat discussions I have had ages ago and buried. Fact remains K.Nwakali never got enough game time to show his stuff even after scoring on his debut.. what is 15 and 14 mins in your next two games after impressing in your first Cameo? Huh? Lol... Using K.Nwakali to promote the mediocre season Solanke had is bullcrap. I CANNOT HAVE THIS DISCUSSION. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Okay, if Solanke had been so "excellent" all this while, what is he doing languishing outside Liverpool's match day squads week in week out? Huh? Falsehood indeed... Lol Abeg bye bye... I got better things doing. forgiveness: 2 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: Toh we have been hearing since that he didn't have enough time to impress, but somehow he got 296 minutes out of a possible 810 which means he played for 37% of the time, if you can't achieve a single assist from the said time as an attacking midfielder then we have a problem. Another issue is that he is playing as a side midfielder in Porto B now, in the long run will he be our saviour in the AMF position? 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Gent won 3-0 today away from home without Awoniyi in the matchday squad. Awoniyi featured in their Europa league tie with Bordeaux days back shaa but I really don't understand the reason for his absence today. Even that little kid wizard, J.David didn't come off the bench this time. Hmmm.. time will tell ooo 2 Likes |

komekn: If we ask these peeps the definition of special talent? Na Kelechi Nwakali, Chidiebere Nwakali, Samuel Chuchwueze etcetera hence dey deserved to be called to the national team. Now, ask dem where are these 'SPECIAL TALENTS' doing exploits? Lower divisions or obscure leagues. No doubt Samuel is a gene and a special one indeed but common sense will tell you there are players doing better than him in better leagues hence doesn't deserve a call now. In fact, I doubt a special talent like him will remain in lowly league for long if he continues with outstanding performance in such league. Dele Ali moved from league 1 to EPL straight after outstanding performances. Lookman moved from obscure league to championship, to EPL and now £25 million was not enough to price him away from Everton. Onyekuru moved from Belgium second tier to Anderlecht and now Galatassary within the space of 3 seasons. Now, that's what I call special talent. Unlike one who couldn't live up to expectations in a lowly Eredivisie second tier yet dem wan make I believe na special talent and he deserves to be called to the national team ahead of players doing better than him. I see wayo people coined the word Special talent to get some certain players into the national team through the back doors devoid of merit and si unit standard of measurement of excellence. This kain of mago mago can lead to war if people perceive some peeps are playing on people's intelligence. Enough said. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

on paper they are a really bad bad side. It's not really about Seychelles. It's about how we stand up against "weak" opponents. We are fresh from the world cup, and have been tested against big opponents. This is supposed to be a walkover considering we have familiar names in the squad. I'm not speaking about the scoreline alone. Earthquake1: |
