For those that watched Watford vs Spurs today, please I need a fair assessment of Isaac Success' performance. |

Icon4s: Loooolll... Very observant you are. From the day that kid won the Golden ball, one of the many thoughts that came to me was this..... "Soon he will become a hot topic on NL Sports displacing or coming close to displacing the Iheanacho topic"... Hahahaha... And true to those tiny thoughts, here we are.... Very predictable folks we have here. Lol 2 Likes 1 Share

TheSuperNerd: Telling us a 17 years old boy who contributed to 8 goals in TWENTY FIVE matches with MOTM underwhelmed is fallacious. If Solanke was average why Liverpool buy am and still retain am until now? Kelechi Nwakali was given chances but he didn't perform. EOD 5 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: Free transfer from Chelsea, and he is British so he can be given a try. He also got a good World Cup,which is the u20 World Cup. Are you trying to tell me all the players Liverpool buy are good players ? Or all the players purchased by a certain clubs are good players ? Solanke was not purchased with money. If he is that good why did Chelsea not offer him a new contract ? Just the way they offer loftus cheek a new contract? If I am not mistaken they are both English boys and they are from the youth team. Solanke will not even make others team in Epl bench 1 Like |

chelsea tried everything they could to renew his contract but the kid wanted to leave for a club where young stars are given a chance to have a taste of 1st team football. the contract issue lingered for almost 2 seasons before he left. his exploits in the wyc made his talent more noticeable so liverpool swooped and signed him up. don't paint it as if liverpool signed him up just because he was english. they saw his qualities and signed him up as one for the future. in the just concluded transfer window clubs from english 2nd tier wanted him on loan, also scottish team rangers were very serious on taking him on loan but liverpool preferred to have him around the first team andrew444: 1 Like |

charlesemeka85: Are we seeing his qualities now? Nacho game time at mancity is similar to solanke game time at Liverpool last season, what did he use out of it ? Make him no go end up for championship like him broda Tammy Abraham Liverpool prefer to have him around the first team and he is not making match day squad ? Even injury prone Sturidge is back to take is spot as the back up striker There is no big deal if rangers wanted him on loan,he should have go there,as far as I am concerned rangers is a below average club |

JoebieII: That's an assumption based on what ❓ Talent is a very fluid it's not a permanent feature the idea someone is special is also about the present continous performance. It's not underpinned with past performances. Every day new talents are being discovered and for those that have been static i.e. have not progressed. They get overtaken and forgotten. SPECAIL Talent must be proven in the HERE and NOW not assumed. As stands Kelechi is yesterday's news not today's, he is past special talent. Indeed he may become special but right now he is definitely not. SPECAIL Talent at age 20 years old does not play youth football in a B team. Consider that the period when Kelechi was being hailed as a special talent and winning international accolades in 2015. A very unknown Ademola Lookman was playing Sunday football not even non league in 2014 got signed by Charlton Athletic in same year . He was not even called SPECAIL TALENT at least the NFF esteemed and all knowing.g scouting crew didn't think so. By 2015 he was playing in the Championship and winning MOTM awards but was not still called SPECAIL TALENT. Today where is Ademola Lookman and where is Nwakali ❓ And where has the special talent carried him too. Bobby Adekanya was sold to Barcelona and by PSV he is now at Liverpool fc arguably the most outstanding player in thier U23 yet he is not called SPECAIL TALENT. Seyi Ojo bought for £1.8 million at age 14 from MK Dons was not called SPECAIL TALENT. This whole issue is an insult to those players who are playing senior football and making good progress in thier clubs. It strengthens the claims of corruption and favouritism within the NFF towards certain players. It's becoming too obvious that MERIT is not the over riding consideration in player selection for the SE. 3 Likes 1 Share |

that doesn't mean that the qualities arent there. at least last season he was given little chance in the epl and cup matches. also you have to note that liverpool is a very competitive team so the chances of making match day squads will be a bit difficult for the kid. no matter how bad solanke may look to you fear no go gree porto B to make inquiries of taking him alone let alone approaching liverpool. having him around the first team shows the club has big plans for his progression if not he would have left on loan of which i know too well that he never lacked suitors. the season is still very young and liverpool have many competitions to compete for which are the epl, caraboacup,FA cup and the ucl so definentely he will tatste some minutes of first team football before the end of the season andrew444: |

I said he will come good, I didn't say he will be the best of the lot eventually. I don't sincerely think Nwakali will fade away, but clearly they are better talents out there. komekn: 1 Like |

charlesemeka85: I have followed this nwakali debate for a while on this thread so much so I don't even know which camp I belong. But I notice ur strongest point against Nwakali is that he plays in the 2nd tier of Portuguese football. So let me ask: what if he plays for an NPFL club say Sunshine stars, would his call up then be reasonable to u? Sunshine stars and Porto B, which in ur opinion has the better quality ? To even spice this up further, what if he plays for an NNL side like shooting stars (think of someone like Faleye been called up to the national team) would that have raised any eyebrow Again what if he plays in the top flight in Sudan(Mohammed ) or Gabon (Friday Ekpo) or CIV(Yekini) would you have raised any questions ? Are the top teams in the aforementioned countries better than Porto B in ur opinion. 1 Like |

bros calling up players from teams like sunshine stars and co happened in the past(during keshi's era) but that doesn't mean that our heralded future star should stoop that low to play for the 2nd team of porto in the portueguese 2nd tier. nwakali if good as many claim here who is highly rated by Marca is suppose to have progressed more than his current level but many are here justifying the reason of our supposed future star joining the youth team of porto. joning a team like fierense, nacional, maritimo or even rio ave who plays in the Portuguese top flight would have been more understandable. the one wey dey vex me pass na pple giving excuses why he couldn't get regular playing time in one of eredivisie weakest teams. the same club where a young musa and uchebo did very well when they left the shores of this continent years back before moving to other leagues. godspeed: |

Una still dey for this yeye debate about KC Nwakali? Lol him no merit the invite but that doesn't mean he aint talented. Dude is hugely talented but hasn't proven himself yet, professionally to merit an invite, that said, I av bn impressed by his performance so far for Porto B, hence I am tipping him to make the step up to their main team, soon. 2 Likes 1 Share |
