Be ready to have your house tiled if it wasn't tiled before..

Useless politicians angry sad..

While I believe MOST Politicians are thieves (whether from APC, PDP , KOWA or any party), there is nothing stopping us from saying WELL DONE when a good deed is done by any of them.

I say well done to Ambode and by inference APC for job well done.

Eco o ni baje.

By the way, I am not from Lagos state. I am from Ogun.

Seriously long overdue!

The RRS should make it presence visible in that axis, there are some bad boys that prey on lone pedestrian along that axis especially around Nurudeen Olowopopo way and along the stretch of bush as you descend into CMD road

Nigerian politicians will never know peace. God know how many lives have been lost. Several years ago along the Lekki-Epe Expway, around Chevron area, while visiting Nigeria, l saw these 2 kids who can't be more than 7 - 8 yr old wanting to cross the highway while on their way home from school. It was hard to imagine that a government would build a highway knowing that there are houses on both sides, and they failed to provide enough pedestrian bridges except two bridges along a multi-kilometre highway. This was during Fashola years.

A new pedestrian bridge built by the Lagos state government has been completed.

The bridge which is located at the  Secretariat bus stop, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The pedestrian bridge will particularly be of benefit to residents of the Magodo 2-CBD-Alausa-Secretariat axis of the state.

For years, residents of that axis had yearned for a pedestrian bridge to enable pedestrians navigate both sides of the ever busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway section of the area.

In the past, many people have lost their lives there in an attempt to cross the road.

In response to their yearnings, the indefatigable Governor Ambode graciously approved the construction of a pedestrian Bridge at that location.

The pedestrian bridge is designed to link the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, with Magodo Phase 2 gate on CMD Road along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The Pedestrian Bridge is being constructed by the the contractor, China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC).

Autojosh, when are you going to do a report on the terrible construction work being done on the Lagos-abeokuta expressway? Looks more like bricklayers than civil engineers handling the construction. Horrible shabby work. For one of the busiest roads in the state, it's quite shocking that some sections of the road has been turned to single lanes especially where overhead bridges are constructed. It's going to be a traffic nightmare (it already is)

Useless and irresponsible govt in Oyo state.
There is no single pedestrian bridge, even if it is one made of iron, along the ever busy highway of toll gate down to ojoo. People still cross that express road. Which is very risky.
My heart burns within me whenever I see school children, nursing mothers, pregnant women, aged people trying to cross that highway.
