This current bear run will continue. It has been trying to drag down DANGCEM.

If DANGCEM gives way and GT gives way, the market is likely to fall down to 30,000, dragging some stocks with it.

It's not stubbornness, it's a learning curve. Iron sharpens Iron. You will come out stronger and far better.

One thing I have learnt about NSE is that it's synonymous to day and night. No matter how dark the night might be, there will still be light. No matter how high a stock rises, it will still reverse at a point. There's no performance of any company that has stopped it from reversing when it gets to a point. Our market na kalo kalo and I have learnt to play it with that mindset.

That's my opinion though and that has worked for me for so long. You will soon have a plan that works for you and you better stick to it when you realises that. Leave CP and his fair price, that can also fail at any point in time.

Flour Mills of Nigeria declared N1 dividend per share but I noticed I was credited with gross amount this morning without deducting withholding tax.
Was there an amendment of the dividend rate at the AGM on August 30th? Anybody?

As a tradition, every year, FMN plc pays the witholding tax for all the shareholders and credit the actual amoung per share the shareholder has to his or her account....hence no need for deducting the witholding tax from shareholders........this is unlike most companies in nse

Madam, stubbornness is a quality of the old. Flexibility, changing dance steps when the drumbeat changes and open-mindedness is a quality of the young.

You need to check yourself w.r.t the people you're referring to.

From my experience spanning over 15 years on NSE, I have realized that however bearish the general market trend might be, cool money can still be made if one has eagle eyesight. I recall how Ikeja Hotel rose from 70kobo to above N3.5 (400% gain) amidst the very intense bearishness of August to October 2014 occasioned by 2015 election scare. With the same period PZ first fell from N34 to N17 within 30 days but in another 30 days that followed it was back to N34 again. Many more examples abound.
Just last month amidst this current cry of bear with bear bear Neimeth delivered 100% moving from 39 Kobo to 80kobo.
Wapic insurance fell to as low as 31kobo just two weeks ago but yesterday closed on full bid at 39 Kobo.. ....

Again, there are people that invested in companies that are not 'quoted' so they cannot look at daily price movements. How do such people 'manage' their investments?

It is obvious we have MANY 'emotional investors' who are not meant for the Capital market or any long term investment. I just hope people will not develop high blood pressure with the daily movement in prices.

The dangerous part is those that will have FALSE confidence in their ability to TIME the market. They are usually the ones to pay the HIGHEST tuition fee.
