Lol ... my brother which kind type jackpot ... an average uber drivers about 5k miles in a month... you are buying 4liters at 15200k .. Now if you plan to use the oil all year round, at least you will buy it 3 to 4times a year ... for each 5quarts you buy from me ,u have an extra liter sitting down looking pretty. So multiply that by the amount of time you will by from the other in a year ...and calculate how much you would have safe.. You would have gotten at least an extra 4liters of oil for free .... Do the math, most of you uber drivers are graduate now ...so do the math now ... everybody talk shake tables, wood fire break, shake tables, wood fire .... Sit down people and do your math now .. cool
Seriously, u guys have really made my day. This kind thing is a normal thing in life sha. Anytime soon everybody ll go back to the main e-hailing biz. Na So bro

Ok let me break it down to you bro .... I think you are smart, so let me break it down to you ...

Now an average uber driver, drives 5k miles in a month abi . So the uber plans on buying extended performance year round. Which of coz it is advisable because of the 15k guarantee protection... now you have one guy that sells oil 1liter at 3800k naira .. Most cars will need four liters to be on the save side that is now a total of 15200k per each time he buys oil from Mr. A . And you have Mr.B that sells 5quarts for 17500k ..there is extra 1liter left ... so if you buy 4liters three times a year how much have you safe compare to buying from Mr. B .. Did you save any money at all ....?

My brother hope you good in mathematics... let me break it down options that area avaliable.... I should keep my mouth shout.. But am having fun.

1. 5quarts that I sell for 17500k, will always have left over ..now according to my guy that buys from me .. He says make I ignore Mobil. Com . Coz if u go there it tells you how many liters u need . For corolla it needs 4.4liters of oil , my guy that uses 06 Corolla told me he himself used 4liters to the top .. Some drivers or partners on uber will prefer to have an extra liter just to top off .due to the fact some cars have oil shortage... it is fact ..like I said am not the smartest guy on the forum ..but common sense can make up for it .
Sorry for running off topic .. So by time an uber drivers buys five quarts from me ,that is if he plans to buy extended performance for year round... he would have about two to three liters free from buying 5quarts from me ..so for the fact that most cars on uber use may be 3.5liters at least for oil ,it works to my advantage... hope I explained myself
3. Before I started selling oil I did my research.. I checked out konga and jumia .. My final price was based on those two websites and than I sold them for 15500k .. Since my focus is mainly on extended performance, what is the average price of extended performance on those two site ? Omo it's like 23k at times to 20k ... and how much am I advertising it on nairaland? Do I need to go further...
4. No tables has been shaken at all .. The problem with people sometimes, and with Nigerians we rush into things . We don't do the math at all .

5. Now the conclusion my brother.... All these oil been imported there is already a cut off price that you can go before you start to lose profit... I have my own cut off, which of coz I will not mention. So those other sellers too .. But we that sell know that there is Base mark ,you go lower than that you are trouble..
6. So also you have to think about the retailers.. How much you want sell to them to make profit? Will they now buy one by one liters of oil ? My sale focus is to retailers too..
7. Because of the larger quanity I have ,am planning to market to Konga, which is very popular than jumia .those two sites will get more views than nairaland.. And more views equals ,well the potential to equal more sales cool
So please let the chips fall how it wants to fall ..thanks for your time ...
And he explainedgrin

Mr. Man you need to mind your business.. So let me break it down to you for you...
1. How I bring my product in, does not concerned you at all .
2. My first batch of oil was to test the product and to see how the market will act . At that time I also brought in mainly regular Mobil oil 5w30.. Sold it for 15500k below market price.. It took time before people bought it all ...as a matter of fact people were telling me they prefer Mobil extended performance.. With the extended performance you are guaranteed at least 15k miles before oil change..
3. Knowing the Nigeria market if I had loaded my first batch inside a container full with oil. Trust me it will sitting down till now .
4. Let me get back to the matter... Now the extended performance, is what I brought in a container, share container with a business partner.. Now for your information am USA Base.. Am sure you are too blind to see or for you to do your research that the price of extended performance on the market goes for if you are lucky 20k per 5quart..
3. Instead of the customer buying regular USA Mobil spec for say lower price for 17k to say 19k and still have to change your oil for say 8k miles , why not flip it around sell the same price as the regular USA spec Mobil and you are now guaranteed double the protection with extended performance for 15k Miles.

4. Now , I have a few cars on uber ,am not fully around to monitor like I should, I had a nasty experience with oil sludge which I posted on the thread for educational purposes for people to learn.. A few of you laugh at me ,which was fine .but I knew that the wise will learn from everyone ... the point is 60% of my cars on uber will be extended performance.. So now I don't have to worry about doing oil change and have rest of mine... USA Castrol could have been the best for me, cheaper than Mobil oil for me ,way cheaper.. But it will not offer me the 15k miles oil production that extended performance will .
5. My method of import is none of your business at all ..instead of to get up in the morning pray to whomever ur faith lies in and look for ways to better yourself.. You now come here to attack me ... this is entertainment to me ..I love it ..so fine child come here let me give you a big kiss and sit on my lap mine two year child.. And daddy dru23 will make you some food it seems you are hungry.

6.. And also the funny lady that attack me on the forum few days ago . If I recall didn't she beef with the same person, she was accusing me of trying to run he out of business? This is same person that was advice that a check engine light should not be ignored. And she fought back saying that the light is fine she has been driving the car like that etc.. Same person she is fighting for that ignore her ,when he refused to help her fix her cause of her attitude... and you from nowhere want to come after me ...
7. And for your information The extended performance is still avaliable and sales are doing fine .. And I do have enough to last few months.. As we speak now we are delivering to a client in Lagos area free if charge.

8.. My conclusion, mind your business, think before you talk. And I don't have to reveal to you anything on how I do my business.. You don't even if I am capable of bringing container into the country or even I share a container.. I don't have to reveal nothing to you, expect for what I feel is appropriate to reveal.. Send me your account and I send u some money, say that u can buy panadol for your headache.. Little punk.
Can it be use for Toyota Corolla 05?

I am not a fan of Dru23 because I don't like the way he. Condemns uber drivers, I have 3 drivers and I treat them as I would treat my colleagues, back to this oil war, personally I just think Gazuzz is just a jealous young not happy about the fact that he has a competitor and fortunately for him. He has several ass lickers on this forum to always praise him. Wrong or right. Competition is healthy so you both should do this maturely and stop crashing prices you can't support in a long term.

My brother I don't condemn anybody... or look down on anybody... I only condemn their actions towards me .. You do have bad cops and good cops Abi ... I don't like cops at all ,due to their actions.. If a rich man attacks me or poor man attacks me I will condemn them too bro ... I have drivers that work for me ,it will be dumb of me to condemn anybody... I have friends that are drivers on these forum.. Are u saying I condemn them too ? That is strong word..

Well in terms of crash price there is nothing to really crash if you look at it from another angle.... I explain these early on, the demand for the oil is mostly in 5quarts extended performance. That is what I focus on ... now if he continues selling at these price of 3800k it's all good ..most cars will need 4liters and there is no top off at all ... now if you have three or more cars to service which would u rather buy 4liters or 5quarts ?
What people don't factor in is that by the time you go to Mr. A to buy oil the third time ,you will only need to buy just 2liters from Mr. A ,that is if you do buy my 5quarts from me ,which gives u total one liter of oil extra from each 5quarts u buy .. So that way the customers saves money... also u have to factor in retailers too .. Would u now sell to them at one, one? For example today we deliver a total of 6 pieces of 5quarts today in Lagos to a company that services high end cars ...

Observing as events unfold in the oil market.

Now we have an auction market?

Very soon price go reach all time low.

What's happening now is what usually happens when electronic or smartphones manufacturers launch new devices, they crash the price of stock to create space for new products.

I dey standby, I must buy oil. The Car is almost due for oil change. grin grin grin grin

As price dey crash, hope it's for all oil viscosity oooo.

Oya, crash this market price more. Take out the table, let use it as firewood to cook beta food.

In every market the question asked each day is Are we drowning or Staying Afloat? … In every market there is a battle … Battle of Price... Taxify did it to Uber … Uber did it to Taxify .. at the end of the battle of price na consumers go gain. So its is never about whose side one is backing... its more about who stands to gain.

Me I will shake table sef... grin

I'll rather buy the 5ltr from Dru than buy from gazuzz, not becaue of price, I might be wrong but I think gazuzz is not very customer friendly over the phone, I don't know him personally but I got his number from this forum, gave it to a colleague who manages a branch of our bank in ogba which by description is close to his workshop, according to him gazuzz sounded very proud and cocky over the phone, I even tried to explain that it might be work pressure but does he have pressure more than we than manage bank branches with 1000s of customers daily.
