I need help and solution, could it be hard drive problem again? I changed it early this year, seriously I pray it's not o.

ps:I never backed it up before, no way to restore anything.

Block fan, dried paste on processor can cause this, I'll advice you take it to an engineer for servicing.

Please Gurus in the house help me,

my laptop (Dell inspirion 15) just hangs up and restart, sometimes it makes a wierd sound while hanging
and it brings some message when rebooting.
It does this like 7-15 times daily I'm really confused cry

This will happen when it constantly shut down itself without you switching it off normally.

Your laptop needs servicing.
Fan is definitely filled with dust and heat from the processor and heat sink is not flowing out properly making the processor paste to dry up.

This problem will occur when processor is not getting the required ventilation and also avoid using your laptop on your bed, rug or sofa.

Take it to an engineer for servicing.

Which driver pack did you use? I'll advice you Google the right version of display adapter for your laptop, you will definitely see reviews.

Some driver always come with bugs you need to check reviews especially if you're downloading online.
thanks sir i updated the bios it's now working.... It's not going blank anymore.. Thank you

Hello, my Vaio of About 7 years now just started showing some Defect on the screen, it gets Dark on one side and then gradually spreads to about 1/3 of the screen and That side of the Dim is hotter than the rest part of the screen when touched. What could be the problem?

Hello.

Let me avoid the technicality of screen technology... Screen is gradually saying goodbye... Retiring from service after 7-years !! That laptop deserves an award.... No, you deserve an award...for being a careful and responsible user.

*Cheers*

Hello guys,
So my HP omen 17 PC only charges when off. When it's on, it says "plugged in, not charging ". Can't perform battery calibration or what's it called cos when I remove the battery and plug it to a power outlet, it won't come on at all... what's the way forward?

Though there's always an exception to the rule.

Hello.

**Remove both battery and disconnect charger from PC. Hold the power button for 10sec to 15sec. Plug in and power on ... How are we doing?

**If this happened since the first time you got it (possibly used)or shortly after, please check that the power specifications on the bottom of the laptop matches the one on the charger.
Something like 19v, 3.4A format.

** There's a 90% chance this is more technical than you think, you might need to get into the laptop. You should see a technician.

Thanks for the prompt response.

So I did a BIOS update and it was still plugged in not charging, so I switched it off and left it plugged to charge, as its gonna charge when off.

However, 45 minutes later I noticed the red charging light had turned to white so I powered it on and Boom, it's back to normal...for now, I'll update you as it goes... if it means it's fully solved or it's just playing pranks

Exactly what you just said, I took it to an engineer just now. He said I need to change it, I mean that heat sink.
I don't have the money to change it, is it possible to just service it as you said?

First and foremost, you need to service your laptop.

Remove the heat sink, use brush to dust the vent on the carcass and on the heat sink, dust the fan and apply a new cooling paste on the processor.

You don't have to change it, just tell him to just service it.

Dust the heat sink with brush and the heat vent on the carcass, clean the old paste on the processor and apply a new cooling paste on it.

If you always place your laptop on the bed, rug or your chair, don't do it again.

Not suitable for heavy gaming.
For soccer, FIFA 15 will be your best
PES 2015 also should go.
NFS 2004(car race) can also run.
