mikkyjagga1:That's right. I am anti-Christianity, because Christianity is stupidity. And anything stupid is dangerous. Which sane person won't be against stupidity, except the mad and stupid? Although, we're very much safe to a certain degree, because most Christians are HYPOCRITES, and only profess a false and empty faith, since they do not follow the cretinous injuctions of their morönic religion. Yet, hyprocrisy itself is a vice that makes you contemptible. As for the OP, you can be a Christian and a feminist, because Christianity is pretty much hypocrisy, as most of its adherent portray! If you can commit fornication, adultery, and go to clubs at night to drink yourself to stupor, like most Nigerians do, and still hilariously-irritatingly refer to yourself as Christians, from where do you draw the legitimacy to say feminists can't be Christians too? Don't be a fool. You are all the same HYPOCRITES. Own up to it already, clowns. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Pataricatering: Say it as it is stop twisting it. Men and women are not equal. Hence equity should be sought. |

Submission is also a role husbands should play. Yes. The husband needs to also submit to his wife. If you want to examine biblical laws rationally you cannot have a home where the woman alone submits and the man alone loves. If you have a marriage where only the husband shows love to his wife because the Bible said men should love their wives then it means the wife is not under any obligation to show concern or love for him. She can practically see him as a roommate and she won't be wrong after all the Bible didn't say wives show love. So therefore husband should also submit to wife just as wife should also show love. |

Olumeme: Hey! Don't say what you don't really have knowledge about here that" it's even more worse in Islam and where women are objects. Let me educates you a bit. Which country is the most populous Muslim Country? It's Indonesia, Population of the Muslims there is 98%. They don't use any constitution aside the God's constitution for makind which has stated in the QUR'AN and popularly known as SHARIA. MIND YOU INDONESIA HAVE ALREADY ELECTED WOMEN AS THEIR PRESIDENT/PRIME MINISTER IN TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS AND THEIR ADMINISTRATIONS WERE SUPERB. Just because their constitution which is Sharia allows, treats and respect the women as well as Men in their country. As you claimed that "Islam treats women as objects". If your claim was to be truth, this wouldn't have possible to choose object as their President in two different occasions. Has Almighty United State of America elected a female President ever? Nope Not to talk of my darling Nigeria. Islam portrayed women as helper and unique homo sapien but it's some bad eggs among Muslims that treat them like trash. Those Muslims who doing so are doing this because they are bad themselves but it's not Islam that tell them to do so. It's the Media that even more worsen the situation with their lies and deceit to protray Islam as a Religion which belittle or treat women like objects Though I like your assertion in the last paragraph of your comment and that's the position of women too in Islam. Everybody are equal before God Almighty but HE has ordained Man to be the Head for Woman but that doesn't mean Man should turns them to slaves or objects Peace be on to you. |

Khed: We are talking about what the Quran and Bible says and not what countries are doing. There's a big difrence between religion and government. Do I think Indonesia empowering women a good thing? Yes Is Indonesia the only Muslim country, not empowering women? No (Iran just allow driving for women less than 2yrs ago). Even Brazil, Liberia has elected a women president too, does that now translates to upholding biblical values? Most of the religious folks are not actually practicing what's inside the books. Ordinarily there should not be any relationship between Christians and Muslims the way Quran cursed jews and even said God will destroy them. I expect you to show men where in the Quran that women should be empowered or that doesn't threats them as slaves/objects not Indonesia, as it doesn't make any sense |
