Good morning.I don't know anything about this particular brand. If you have done your due diligence (Read reviews and opinions of those that have used it before ,especially car professionals and petrol heads) and you are impressed with the feedbacks, then you can carry on.If you want to buy Total ,I would advice to buy from a Total fuel Station or well known genuine merchant to avoid buying imitation.

Thanks for the advice. And please which of the Total Engine oil do you advice me to use. The Manuel recommends 5w30. I did not see it at Total here rather I saw 5w40. Can I use 5w40.

There are many other popular brands of 5w30, like Mobil ,Toyota ,Nissan ,Castrol ,Motorcraft, etc .If I were in your position, I would look for another known brand of 5w30 or 0w30 instead of using 5w40.But this is just my opinion.

hmmm i laugh in Hellenic language. ..

You have 900k & you want to start picking up broads, huhs?

You will buy one that will not even make it to the fuel station immediately after purchase.

You better go and buy a golf 1; for now the fx is way above your league.

I generally advise people to steer clear of Nigerian used Nissans except they are personally sure of the history.

I made a comment, common sense should have told you I drive one. I own the same fx35 you inquire about while my wife is on the verge of getting the facelifted version, a 2010 precisely, and I kid you not, that rubbish about demand and supply doesnt work. You will get a lemon vehicle, even at 1.5m. The fuel pump alone , Aunty Radu will sell for 100k upwards. Shock absorbers about 60k plus a pair. 3.5 VQ engine, premium fuel recommended. OEM brand new headlamps, north of 150k; You had better buy premium insurance too values at nothing less than 150k with excess buyback.
If you want a good naija used, your budget is 2M plus and you still need heavy praying and fasting.
Stay away from Naija used as you have been adviced.
If you cannot afford the toks now, wait and save more. Luxury cars are better purchased new or toks!
This is not a Corolla. Oya receive sense!
p.s.: I dont need to know you. You mentioned 900k, something about first impressions lasting longer.

Your question is relative! Since it depends on distance, condition of engine, correctness of wheel size and tire pressure, etc.
Ceteris paribus, you should do 100km with about 15litres, at least that is what my FUEL ECONOMY graph shows. If I drive like an idiot, it goes to about 18litres.
For the power and pleasure derived, to hell with fuel economy.

I actually did Lekki to Ipaja and back on a quarter tank of fuel with full A/C and moderate traffic, bad roads etc some weeks ago.
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by princevih(m): 1:27am On Sep 12, 2018
thanks so much man, nd lastly when doing it's routine maintenance do u spend up 2 50k e.g oil, filter, plugs, octane boosters e.t.c wen u replace broken parts(wit oem 1s) does it last longer dan all dis toyota nd hondas parts dat dies b4 5mnths. Cus i love solid nd gallant vehicles dats 1 of d reason i love d fx35.

You lie! 100km with 2k fuel bros no now from ipaja to lekki and back!!! Remember ur using normal naija fuel cos we dont sell quality premium gas that was recommended by manufacturers. It may be possible if you drove back on complete empty which is bad for ur fuel pump and engine. It would do 60 to 65 if u drive smoothly on the highway with no traffic and much braking. Then 50km within the city or less!

These cars are fuel guzzlers! Princevih is looking at fuel economy please respect ur self and buy corolla or honda i4. Infiniti parts are expensive if u go for brandnew! But i buy tokunbo parts in ladipo whiich does not cost so much. The only part i changed that was brandnew was the stabilizer linkage which cost me 19k! Unlike camry that u can buy for 2500.

Ps: I drive an infiniti G35x 2007 VQ35HR engine

No you dont spend that much on its maintainance. I buy mobile one 13500 and extra 1lts 4500. Then buy oil filter 4k and thats it.

Buying linkages for 2500 doesn't make that said car "cheap to maintain" There are linkages for almost any car for #2000.Also there are genuine linkages for Camry 1998 model that cost about #18,000 too.
PS :I sell genuine Auto spare parts for Cars wink

Manners maketh man! Never come on an online forum and say somebody lies. I repeat , the car comes with a fuel economy graph and display and like I said earlier, at gentle driving, its 15l per 100km, if I am revving like mad, it climbs to 18l per 100km. If yours guzzle fuel, I think you should tune it. I have a C300 4Matic, 3.0 V6 engine. Which you might say is also a fuel guzzler.
But the car disables some cynlinders on deceleration and also when cruising. I am not sure if the fx does disable cylinders on deceleration, but i know it shuts off some while cruising. So typically, at a constant speed, it behaves like an i4 instead of a v6. It will only deliver power of v6 when accelerating or when needed as programmed by the drivetrain module.
I repeat, if your infiniti is consuming excessive fuel, go for a checkup. By the way, I use premium fuel. Go figure.

Budget 50k or more for a thorough maintenance
as prescribed in the maintenance manual.
Maintenance goes beyond oil and filter change.
Download the manual. You might even need to change air filters, differential oil. trans oil, wipers
depending on the mileage schedule.
