If Cote d'Ivoire can beat Burkina Faso by a goal or two, then we qualify as group winners. |

tbaba1234: Yes Nig: 3pts, +3GD B/ Faso: 3pts, +1GD. CIV: 0pt, -4GD If B/Faso draw or beat CIV with any margin, we are through as 2nd best. If CIV beat B.Faso by 1,2,3,4,5,or 6 we are still through because the most CIV can end up with any of this margin win is 3pts, +2GD.We are through and top the group. Just like above If B.Faso loses by 1,2,3,4,5, or 6 goals Margin they will end up at worsr on 3pts -5GD. We are through as group winners If CIV win by 7 or more goals margin we are through but CIV tops the group. Even if head to head is involved by if CIV wins B/Faso. All 3 teams are level on head to head and we refer to the GD factor as explained above. So any which ways we are through. Abi which other combination of permutations remains? 5 Likes |

Just finished watching the highlights of Nig vs Civ Hum....our goalkeeper is a giant, during the penalty his hands were bracing comfortably on the crossbar...hum...the right winger is left-footed...beautiful to watch when he cuts in... There is another left footed ball-holding midfielder that kind of plays a type of football that tells an opponent "bring it on"...if you watched Mohammed Ali or Mayweather showboating, you will understand... I do not know their names. General note...defence not good yet...midfield superb...attack needs more fludity... On the whole..the future is in the bag. 2 Likes 1 Share |

tbaba1234: Boy was really impressive. Just a few additions here and there plus bulking up via the gym, then we are ready for the world cup. Manu Garba should be made the chronic gaffer of the golden eaglets. We should never repeat the mistake of promoting him with the team to the U20s. Dude knows how to unearth talents and he should be left there to keep doing what he knows how to do best. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
