The massive entourage he took down to China was an unnecessary drain on tax payers in Nigeria.

With youth unemployment soaring high and now getting worse.

Nigeria need a President that understand modern day economics and how to build national wealth.

I give kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari for his unrelenting war against corruption in Nigeria.

It is actually true that corruption set us back here in Nigeria and Africa as a continent.

But President Buhari should not have devote 100 per cent of his efforts on the fight against corruption.

There is other pressing challenges in Nigeria like youth unemployment, boko haram insurgency in the north eastern part of Nigeria, Fulani herdsmen/farmer clash, armed robbery and kidnapping, ritual killings, rape cases increasing by the day, yahooplus and internet fraud, prostitution, militancy, political thuggery etc

Last but not the least there is also the problem in the power sector.

There is no community in Nigeria that is not facing epileptic power supply in Nigeria.

This is not good enough for the overall growth and development of Nigeria.

If the power sector is developed and there is regular electricity. It will go a long way in reducing unemployment in Nigeria as more factories will increase their production capacity. Many artisan such as welders, barbers, tailors, hair dresser, bakers etc will create job for themselves without the financial stress of powering their generator to sustain themselves in their trade.

President Buhari trip to China should not be archived in the political history books of the government without recording massive growth in the Nigeria economy.

The Nigeria government must engaged with the Chinese leadership and Chinese investors to develop the dying Nigeria economy.

The federal government of Nigeria together with state and local government should partner with the private sector to develop agriculture.

Massive employment will be generated from agriculture as agro allied industry will have ready and steady supply of farm produce to convert to finish goods.

How is a single person, 1 man, even if the president suppose to bring electricity to the whole of Nigeria.

Please dont insult me, just explain it so I can understand.

How is Buhari to create employment for millions of youth , please just explain it.........

only a fool think dat way so far dat dey re cumin home together dey re wcum back home,

In addition, we seem to be so much accustomed to see things through the "western" ways and culture. The Arabs may not see that as an issue, rather the woman could as a sign of respect and honor allow the man to be ahead........

Point is, we need to understand differences in orientations and ways of life and respect it........even if we may not agree with it

I understand your altruistic intention in your post but also observe that some of your comments show some shortcomings....

The massive entourage he took down to China was an unnecessary drain on tax payers in Nigeria. - So let's play it like this, judging from what we knew before they left and what they came back with, tell me who should have been dropped from the entourage
President Buhari will be accompanied to Beijing by his wife, Aisha, who is scheduled to participate in a Spouses’ Programme on China-Africa at the Great Hall of the People, under the theme, ‘‘Joining Hands for a Future of AIDS.’’

Also on the President’s entourage are Governors Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, Akinwunmi Ambode, Mohammed Abubakar and Rochas Okorocha of Bauchi, Lagos, Jigawa and Imo States respectively.

Others are Senators Abdullahi Adamu, George Akume, Godswill Akpabio and Aliyu Wamakko representing Nasarawa, Benue, Akwa Ibom and Sokoto States respectively.

Also accompanying the President are: the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; Minister of FCT, Muhammad Bello; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah; Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma; Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu; Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, and Minister of State, Aviation, Hadi Sirika.

Others are the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; the Director General, National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Abubakar; and the Group Managing Director, NNPC, Maikanti Baru.

With youth unemployment soaring high and now getting worse.I will be interested in a current statistics of rising youth unemployment

Nigeria need a President that understand [b]modern day economics
and how to build national wealth. You just throw around vague words. What is "modern day economics"?

Last but not the least there is also the problem in the power sector.

There is no community in Nigeria that is not facing epileptic power supply in Nigeria.false statement. Even the several informal surveys carried out on Nairaland contradicts this position of yours
