Majority of us use to make the mistake, we tend to face the Qibla when answering the call of nature, it may be as a result of the location of our toilet or our negligence.

Sayyiduna Abu Ayyoob Al-Ansaari Radhiyallahu Anhu says that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam forbade the person who went to answer the call of nature to face the Qiblah. He said, “Face towards the east or the west. (i.e. away from the Qiblah)” (Ibn Majah) in Jamiat Ulama SA daily reminder.

Please let's all endeavour to effect the change as from today, may Allah make it easy for us. Wasalam Alaekum Waramotulah Wabarakaatuh

Whoever wants to ease him/herself or defaecate in the open should not face the Qibla. Modern day toilets that has walls are not entirely bound by this ruling. But we should still to observe it as much as we can!

Peace be unto Muhammed ( SAW) , his entire house hold and the Muslim Ummah. May we all make it to Jannah in sha Allah. (Amin)
Having read the above , no doubt on its Authenticity as there was no quotation from any Hadith to back up the claim .However , in a modern day world like ours where the toilet seats are already fix facing the Qibla which obviously cannot be removed or changed , how do you go about this ?
