OUR EDUCATIONAL POLICY MAKERS SHOULD ENSURE THAT ALL POLYTECHNIC RECTORS MUST BE A GRADUATE OF POLYTECHNIC EDUCATION.

THIS WILL MAKE POLYTECHNIC EDUCATION TO GROW AS A UNIVERSITY GRADUATE AS RECTOR WILL NOT HAVE THE PASSION TO DEVELOP THE STRATEGIC POINTS OF POLYTECHNIC STUDIES.

THE RECTOR CAN BE A UNIVERSITY GRADUATE BUT HE SHOULD HAVE HAD A TASTE OF POLYTECHNIC EDUCATION EITHER AS A OND OR HND GRADUATE.

He was my project supervisor in Futo. He was a visiting lecturer. He taught us soil mechanics, then he was the Dean of Engineering(2010).He is a soil guru, if you bring any soil for him, he will know the location and tell you the properties. I remember when some project mates tried to outsmart him, the man caught them sharply.very strict, straight forward and nice man. A big congrats to him
And OP, he is a Civil Engineer and not Electrical Electronics Engineer.

Which school are you talking about? I hope it is not Nekede Poly, because the school is a good for nothing school that awards certificates to illiterates.

Yes, I guess. I heard he's a kinda a pain in the ass in that department.
Atleast, I'm grateful I graduated successfully. Though, I should have made more than the grades I had then in my department, just because I refused to follow the "many" & the "norm(kinda sorting as locally called)."
Well, I thank God for helping me overcome the obstacle/norm, atleast I have things to show for myself.
I enjoin all Prospective and Enrolled Students in there, to keep your head so high. Believe it or not, if you can overcome the stress in Nekede positively or otherwise, you'll excel in the world elsewhere.
Hopefully, the new Rector will effect quality change.
