Hmm....makes so much sense particularly where u pointed out that People from Mali and CIV are typically taller. I will add Senegal and Cameroon to this.

I once worked with an Ivorian. A very tall guy. He told me people of his kind of height are more in CIV than we have in Nigeria. That many Nigerians are stunted.

Like as you pointed I think dieting and genetics are key factors here.

Thus a Nigerian 15-16 years old will not look as tall as his age mates from Mali, CIV, Cameroon or Senegal.

you are right about this bro, whenever I traveled to other African countries, they never refer to me as a tall guy, between I’m 6’4 once I get back home. Everyone will be calling tallest, Nigerians are one of the shortest people in Africa

Maybe the feud between Mikel and Onazi has made Rohr promote Musa to vice captain...Musa's performance in Russia seem to have brought him back to the starting eleven.. Regardless of which league he plays in,he will always be called up

Perhaps giving him a feel of the national team, thereby grooming him as a possible major replacement for Mickel Obi. Perhaps Rohr is thinking future here.
l know he isn't ready and doesn't play in a top club yet but in time to come, a matured Nwakali at his best could easily become Nigeria's new playmaker.

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has named his starting XI to face Seychelles in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier that will hold at Stade Linité (Roche Caïman) on Saturday afternoon, starting from 1330 hours.

New Elche signing Francis Uzoho has been preferred in goal ahead of Chippa United's Daniel Akpeyi and the only home-based player named on the 21-man roster, Enyimba's Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

The defense comprises of Leon Balogun, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem and Brian Idowu, with the last two players taking up the right-back and left-back roles respectively.

Stoke City ace Oghenekaro Etebo, who started all Nigeria's three games at the 2018 World Cup, is the shock omission in midfield, with Rohr choosing Eddy Onazi and Wilfred Ndidi as the holding midfielders while Kelechi Iheanacho takes up playmaking duties in the absence of skipper Obi Mikel.

Odion Ighalo will lead the frontline and he is flanked by Ahmed Musa and Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu.
