Omeruo was a bit sloppy today. He needs game time.
Omeruo already told us at last WC that he still has a lot to offer

Surprisedly some want Omeruo out and Semi in.

I can say it anywhere that Omeruo is better than Ekong.

Rohr will definitely dropped Simy Nwankwo.

Simmy and Ighalo were just as useless as the 3 defensive midfielders we took to Russia to warm the bench. A wise coach wouldn't pick Onazi, Joel, Ndidi, Etebo even Mikel(all defensive midfielders) to a tourney ahead of someone who provides an attacking out let. Why didnt he replace Simmy with Kalu as a like for like, for injured Simon or better yet, drop one of the ineffective duo of Onazi and Joel?

I will say it over and over again, Rohr is a clueless coach and he should be sacked ASAP

You tend to use hindsight to make a lot of judgments here

Why didn't you include this, why didn't you include that

Can you show me where you were calling for the inclusion of Samuel Kalu before the world cup list was released?

it will even be better for rohr to experiment with isaac success in the number 9 role than calling up ighalo and simy always which yields nothing fruitful. success is familiar in the role and will be a handful for opposing defenders with his pace, skills and aggressive style of play

I can say it anywhere that Omeruo is better than Ekong.

Omeruo was match rusty, he will shake it off as soon as settles in Leganes. Dude is good, I will pick him ahead of everyone else, bar Balogun. That said, others are OK too. Semi was impressive today but that doesn't make him as good as Omeruo. I will have a second look before i sing his praises because Cameos are like mini skirts, they dont reveal every damne thing. It was a cameo that made us get scammed by Idowu.

So why didnt he drop any of these two to make a like for like repp with Kalu for Simon? After all, those two went to Russia for sight-seeing, abi dem do anything meaningful? Our game against Argentina and Croatia needed a Simon or Kalu to stretch their full backs, but no we couldn't do that because the blind bat left the personnel for that at home.

Rohr should be sacked biko

he really needs to sit up or he will be tossed to the trash soon. the guy is not progressing as he ought to and this is because of some career decisions he made in the past. ex super eagles defense stalwart taribo west said few days ago that ekong's rise is what so many soccer loving Nigerians were expecting from omeruo instead his development have been stagnant.

i was very happy when he refused returning on loan to turkey and joined leganes instead. playing in top leagues helps players to development and the exposure of playing against top players enhances players abilities and mental strength.

If u weren't mad urself, u wouldn't have given this last response. U just sound like someone having domestic ish and looking for a way to cool off, hence doing some kinda transfer aggression. Go sort urself out bro. No be me cause u the problems u are having. Good luck with that anyways

Sir I think we have moved on from this cos i remember before WC this was the same arguments.

Omeruo performance at WC showed that he is a player to rely on.

Let's see him in Spanish liga as league progress

ekong is mile's better and is blessed with the qualities and charisma of a leader. omeruo almost gifted Seychelles a goal of which many would have blamed it on uzoho if the the ball went him. his timing and concentration is very poor. this have been evident in some matches he has played for the national team.

the 2 goal tekole ranti scored in uyo against keshi's led team where caused by omeruo who was bullied and manhandled by the south african striker before aluko came in as a sub and scored to quick goals to get a point for the team which was meaningless

same thing happened again against zambia in ndola in the team's first world cup qualifying match where he mis-headed the ball to a zambian striker who bullied him off the ball and scored.

against iceland in the just concluded world cup he made a huge mistake when he was in full control of the ball without any pressure but lost concentration which made ebuehi to rush into the tackle that gifted the icelanders a penalty kick which sigurdson missed.

lastly, against Argentina his bad timing and lost of concentration gave messi so much room to shoot at goal which he scored.

Big result for Amunike. A draw in Uganda is not easy.
After the Nigerian game I was switching between the Uganda vs Tanzania, RSA vs Libya and Kenya vs Ghana games.

I saw something in that Tanzanian team. That is the Amuneke influence. They were doing plenty of the passing game. It worked for them. Playing Uganda in Kampala is not an easy game especially with the current resurgence of Ugandan football.

I wish Emma's Tanzania can make it through from that group. They currently have 2pts from 2 games after drawing their first game at home to Lesotho. A result that got the former coach sacked.
