I'm beginning to feel the president is aware of his close associates acts in the presidency but I don't know if he is involved in some of these sharp malpractices. |

CSTR1005: So if Buhari appointed him, does that make him Buhari's employee? Can Buhari dictate what he should do and not do to him? Does he do Buhari's biddings or the one the constitution laid down for his office? If Buhari is inpeached, does he lose his job instantly with Buhari? |

somehow: But on another forum your likes will say. Mr. President has the prerogative to appoint whosoever he wishes into his security team without regards to ethnicity and background. This selective standard is one of the reasons Nigeria does not work. Mister man, the only folks in government that are free of Mr. President's bidding are those elected. He is absolutely responsible for everyone else in government. If they go contrary they would be punished or sacked. That is the meaning of the phrase, 'the buck stops at his table', used freely against the previous President. Now we have entered into a new era where Mr President is more concerned about what goes on and goes wrong in his neighbours compound while his own childlren run around unruly. And for folks like you to excuse that for a government that has consistently flown the kite of probity and anti corruption is just sad. Time and time again he is either unaware or unresponsive to blatant and flagrant abuses of office and outright corruption by his government and its lieutenants. When are folks like you going to burn the toga of hypocrisy and start holding someone accountable. The bottom line is brutally simple. If nothing happens to Mr. Malami on occasion of this, then it means there is complicity at the highest level of government. If he can hear the criticism and the so called fake news then he should have heard what his 'appointee' has done. We wait for action as proof of rhetoric. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Why would the OP associate Buhari with this development When it is obviously the attorney general' s doing. . . . What do you stand to gain by the post you put up ? . . . I think NRNLAND Admin should verify sources and scrutinize topics before moving then to front page. . |

Bizibi: He is doing what every other President before him does, provide the land, the seeds and fertilizer. It is up to the peons to cultivate and harvest the land of the fruits of corruption. Have you seen any President counting money in the vaults of the CBN or selling crude oil in Jankara market.... If certain actions acrions are not tolerated they will be dealt with and the perpetuators indeed. You cannot claim to hate mosquitos and the malaria they bring yet kill only the ones that bite you and not those that bite your children. Mr. President should deal with all corruption because it injutes us all and not only him and his interests. |

Is the Attorney General of the federation a security man to be in the president's security team? FYI, the president hardly interferes into people's job, it seems you haven't noticed this. once he appoints you, he allows you to work according to the laws guiding your appointment. The AG is not an employee of the President, rather an employee of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Reference: |

"We are finished. APC and Buhari's government have finished us with debts. 11 Trillion naira borrowed in 3 years and nothing to show for it. Nothing. They keep saying that they are cleaning the rot of 16 years but they are actually the new rot. What a shame. Second term? Where? Never!" - Pastor Tunde Bakare |

All these wailing wailers, has there not been established an account named " Govt. Assets Recovery Account " where all the recovered stolen assets are being paid into for which we have been hearing and read that the total amount paid into Assets recovery account is so so billions. If one goes through the true story of what really transpired between the A G and C B N one will see this so called BUSINESS DAY magazine is one the fake report magazines being sponsored by the wailing wailers. |

Our last couple of AGs have been big big thieves. Especially this one and Aaondoaka. How will you prefer to crumble the economy and scare away foreign investors just because of your kick back lawyer's fees. I don't expect bubu to know the implication, but is Osinbajo there? |

somehow:Mister man keep semantics aside and reason progressively not in a retrogressive manner, the guy that mentioned you was only giving an illustration when he mentioned the security team. As a president all appointees fall within your jurisdiction and as such you should know when to terminate their appointments or give them a pat on the back. Buhari's seeming ignorance to this is alarming. He is supposed to control his government not the other way around. |

Stanbic IBTC I know will never oblige to anything that will attract unto them regulatory sanctions. They are always so careful and conscious so as not to breach CBN regulations especially in Nigeria. This is the reason some people perceive them as being strict because once CBN orders, they immediately comply and are never ready to cut corners or engage in deals that will cause them reputational damage. I still believe there's more to this story and certainly, time shall tell; but till then, Fingers crossed. |
