Plz Please i have a question Isnt it better to invest on Tbills on a short tenure twice or more than to invest on a long tenure once ? Example.... 55days or 90days at 10% than 210days or 360 days at 13%....? Like 100k for example.... for 55days u can get ya 10k 3x and make 30k in 165day (55days x 3tyms) unlike doing 360days which is jst 13k? Plz if i am wrong correct me just tinking out loud thanks 1 Like |

Osahon7: Oh you bet. And oh as for your question whether you can do it from anywhere, my guess is yes. All you got to do, I guess, is call the bank in Argentina you want to invest with. I have bank accounts with First Bank, GTB, StanBic and Zenith, and I never walked into any of these banks to open an account lol 1 Like |

jujutom: Initially I was going to ignore you because this question shows you haven't read previous pages of this thread. I'm just gonna answer it so that other lazy Nigerian youths like you don't repeat the question. When you invest for 55 or 90 days at 10%, YOU ARE NOT GETTING THE FULL 10% for that investment. Divide 10% by 1 year (0.10÷364 = 0.00027). Times the result by the number of days, 55 in this case. That would give you 0.015. That means you're getting just 1.5% of that 100,000 investment. A guy here said he read the first 300 pages of this thread. I did similar thing that is why I can say I know so much about tbills, not from reading a book or not because I work at a bank, but because I spent time here reading previous pages of this thread. PLEASE YOU GUYS SHOULD STOP ASKING QUESTIONS THAT YOU WOULD FIND THE ANSWERS TO IF YOU TOOK 20 MINUTES TO READ PREVIOUS PAGES OF THIS THREAD. ALSO ENOUGH WITH THE FIGHT. IF YOU ARE NOT HERE FOR INVESTMENTS, LEAVE THIS THREAD BEFORE YOU MAKE REASONABLE INVESTORS HERE LEAVE BECAUSE OF YOU. 26 Likes 1 Share |

zinaunreal: I will feed you and your entire generation. I can smell your frustration. So if your sister and mother doesnt beg money, where do u now get the statistical data you used to quantify women for not investing. Your lack of understanding has exposed your illiteracy. From your write up, is obvious your mother and sister and wife depends on you, hence your statement on women. Well change your mentality right now, not all women are as lazy as your entire generation. |

Gavrelino123: It starts (as always) with the entry of certain monikers into the thread. And in this case it's easy to pick out. Just a look at his/her recent posts and you won't see any tangible contribution, it's just about quoting others out of point and looking for fights. The more serious investors will do well to ignore them. 8 Likes |

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by alezzy13: 3:41am On Sep 09, 2018 |
jujutom: Wrong. All the rates are per year. So if the tenor period is less than a year you have to prorate it accordingly. 4 Likes |
