Question Of The Day by bolafez(m): 3:24pm On Sep 09, 2018
This question was asked in Sunday school service today. A guy was dating a lady, both attending the same church. The guy was transferred from his place of work from their city to another. The lady decided to pay him a visit one day and on getting there, he met him with another lady. The guy beat her up and asked why she had come without informing him, she was pushed out and it's late already. This lady in particular doesn't really know anywhere in that city. She took it upon herself to find a nearby inn and stay till the next day, while going around with this thought, she met a young man and decided to ask about the nearby inn, before she said anything, the guy came upon her and forcefully had carnal of her. It was later that the people in the city told her the guy(that forcefully slept with her) is a mad man. She went home bitterly and after two months she started feeling somehow and eventually she went for test. It was revealed to her there that's she is two months pregnant.
As a Christian, should she about the baby or keep it.
N.B. Abortion in christianity is a sin to God.

thou shall not kill.
Re: Question Of The Day by prinzfavian(m): 3:30pm On Sep 09, 2018
It won't be easy but the right thing to do is to keep the baby.
Abortion, on whatever ground is never accepted scripturally... Being a Christian, she should be well aware that God will never allow her go through any trial that she won't be able to bear, He will even Make a way out of or her (1 corinthians 10:13).
It's not a must she reveal the identity of the father of the child to anyone... It's her choice.

and you think the baby would ever forgive her when he/she grows up?

It won't be easy... But the baby would eventually have to, if the lady brings the child up in the way of the Lord.

the Bible made us to understand that blood is life. I believe scientifically that combination of blood and some other stuffs make a baby. So flushing is the same thing as killing.

What baby?
At two months it's nothing but a foetus no bigger than a morsel of eba.

And if you say "but it has life in it", why do you kill germs and bacteria with soap?
Are they not life too?

bringing someone up in a way of God doesn't mean the mental aspect of his life would not be at work. Its not even a guarantee that boy/girl would always follow the path sef.

Abortion...what if the baby is born with mental problem as well?this should also be considered.

the Bible doesn't go against killing of germs and bacteria. these things are against our health and as a Christian, we have dominion/authority over it. there's no sin in killing of germs and bacteria but there's a sin in killing human beings.

Does the Bible even know what germs and bacteria are?

The Bible isn't that intelligent.

well in my own opinion, a child is not yet formed. To save her self and unborn child from future trauma, it's best she flush it out. Besides, who knows if she will ever see the mad man again.

Op, this is not a case of surgical abortion ' professionally, there are safe pills to take without going through pains. @this stage, the fetus is not yet formed.

No harm will befall her except she seeks local prescriptions or advice.

there's no justification for abortion. it's spiritually wrong and illegal.
