As much as I love the Danjuma kid, I must say he hasn't done what no Nigerian hasn't done in the jupiler league and still got over looked so I aint gonna be surprised if Rohr messes up his chances with us. After all, Olayinka, Kalu and Dennis Bonaventure did better in their first 3wks for their respective Belgian sides, yet the hyper conservative coach didnt notice them. Imoh was a monster and Keshi bleeped his chances too

When you be calling Rohr a conservative, it's an insult to many conservatives out there.

He's surpassed conservative as the meaning of the word suggests, he's "Stiff" let's call him "STIFF NECK!"

Right from the unset till date. Bobby Adekanye will choose Nigeria over Holland. I know that but he is not eligible to play for Nigeria U20 team because he has played for Holland U17 team in a competitive match after he was snubbed by Amunike.

I think he has to either break into Liverpool's bench or play in a decent league before he can be considered.

I know he is a good player.

Using the bench mark of Rohr who has called a B team player from Porto.

In this regard there is justification for his call up Porto and Liverpool are not on the same level.

Add to the fact that Bobby Adekanya is the most outstanding player in Liverpool U23 arguably. Then he should be invited.

My opinion is the same as yours he has to go on loan and prove himself in the game first and or make Liverpool first team. But Rohr and NFF terms of selection create the rationale for his call up.

bro I overheard our cracker with Libya has been taken to the suburbs of kaduna again..
How true is this?
Firstly, Kaduna stadium is not in a suburb area. It's in main town before Kawo. The pitch is very nice if you ask me. The fear has always been security and rarely, capacity. Secondly, I can't confirm the venue of that match but our able Bosses who are in the know can fill you in. Cc Tbaba1234

So you didn't watch Barca's last away match? Messi couldn't shoot without falling.

All that is part of gamesmanship. Why would you expect them to take Europe based players to a type of pitch they are used to?
That team just came from relegation and as bad as their pitch is, it's not to be compared with those farmlands I'm talking about.

80% of their team participated in the last CHAN and they have been together since winning it in 2014 or so; so the understanding is their. Same team our CHAN eagles defeated. Winning is a mind set I believe with the right players we can conveniently take 6 points off the Libyans. They aren't that "spectacular" ultra defensive playing big teams but it doesn't make them push overs. I believe we can nick 6 point off them.
My thoughts though

Hi boss!

Permit me to point out this your, in my opinion, hypocritical post. What happened to basing call ups on top level performances at top level clubs in top level leagues? If someone had called for, say a chukwueze, citing this your excuse, I'm sure you would have started a rant. So because Nwakali has been invited unjustifiably, it's ok to invite Adekanye. Of course it's because it's Adekanye.

Basically, since the rule has been broken before, we can as well tear up the rule book.

Me I am just saying what I see sha o. I'll return to my ghost mode.

Well said. If anything at least he helped us qualify for the WC.

komekn:
What I learned from yesterday's match is we have a lot of work to do.

Team lacked cohesion bad pitch is not an excuse, this is a team that we should be finishing off. We did not.

Against a better team we would have been severely punished.

The population of Seychelles is less than Ughelli town not local government. I would expect our U20 to beat them. They had a goal keeper with a beer belly. Nobody was outstanding in our team although I liked Musa's goal.

Rohr is not innovative and lacks strategic vision for the team, he is structured but not innovative. A preference for safety and conservatism.

I don't see us hitting high notes with him he is unable to engineer passionate enthusiasm and belief in the team essentially that WINNING MENTALITY.

For a friendly of this magnitude, I’m satisfied with this list. However I think Rohr needs to stop tying Ezenwa to his back with wrapper

ROHR ON PITCH FOR LIBYA MATCH

''We are only one point behind and we are hosting so we have to win this game. In these two games against Libya, we have to get at least four points, so we have to win,''

''I don't know where we will play because we need a good pitch, a large pitch where we can play our football against a team which did a good job today in South Africa.

''That's why we need a good pitch to play our football for our wingers, for our technical football. We need a good pitch, I hope that we will have it in Nigeria.''

Aha! Misunderstood you. If you think there is any 'credible' team b, you are on a long thing.

It was coined for the agent boys. The fact that underperformed players were called is a testimonial. grin

you are absolutely right. I watched their match against SA yesterday. Their transition from defense to attack was mouthwatering and so fast that they caught the south African of guard so many times. Their undoing yesterday was poor decision making in the final third and were also lacking in clinical ability.

We only hope they don't get it right when they face us.

He failed to make it in belgium ? which is a better league from belgium and turkey?

He is a bench warmer in turkey? Try and get your fact right

Ekong was on bench for 90 minutes for 2 bursaspor games then the following game he was subbed in,then he started the following game,so how is he a bench warmer? is that how you judge a bench warmer? even if you hate a player please speak the truth.

Even if ekong didnt make it at tottenham doesnt mean he is a bad player,so many player didnt make it at the first team but they ended up at big club.

Now ekong is in udinese and in the starting 11 always.

Pray omeruo makes leganes team, omeruo that all turkey club has refused to buy.

Stop disgracing your self by saying ekong is a bench warmer at turkey, try and get the meaning of bench warmer, someone was on the bench for 3 games makes him a bench warmer?

Chief i am dissapointed in how you judge football,i taught you know more things.

Someone started 26 turkey league games in the 30 he was available for and someone is calling him a bench warmer.

You cant hide your hate

Where did the write Ekong was a bench warmer in Turkey?
