Earthquake1:leave him to be carrying rubbish talk on his head. Why should icon caution the guy? Is icon4s the moderator here? If you want to caution him, do so, he has as much right as anyone else to caution someone, instead of having expectations. Oasis is not a small boy on this thread, so, shouting up and down for back up is unbecoming. If you see something wrong, caution it. Don't come here to accuse people because they did not see what you saw, like icon4s tightly stated, it takes a bigot to see a bigot. Maybe Oasis needs to check himself as well |

Kalapizim:Na ororo change the emphasis of football to goalscoring o. lol Babel was just like Sturridge to me kinda. Some footballers yaff suffer. Bendtner sef that was called the next Ronaldo nko? Ighalo should just be a pro on field and liase with the forwards to be rotating the 9 and get goals. That way Rohr would just be like they have matured. He can't do Nada. Ronaldinho did it severally. Same for Gattuso and Pires. 2 Likes |

Are you not one of those who sold us Iheanacho is a striker? Are you not one of those against Kayode call up to the National team despite winning highest goalscorer and best player in Austrian league? Are you not one of those who clamoured for the inclusion of Lokosa over such player? Why are you people crying now? 3 Likes |

safarigirl: Do you want me to dig my Post(s)/where i have cautioned Forgiveness?! I have stopped paying Attention to him, cos he's very stubborn and won't change. He believes he's doing nothing Wrong, rather expressing his Views objectively. However, my Point exactly is; we need to quench an ignited Fire before it rapidly develops to a Volcano. The Post was wrong, the motive is easier to identify but Chief said nothing is wrong with it. Trust me, the Post would have caused unreasonable Discourse, resulting to name-callings, exhausting Pages for nothing good. I requested Icon4s to caution him cos I respected him as an Elder, but he sees nothing wrong with the Post, rather indirectly throw a subtle at my Direction. 3 Likes |

Icon4s: No offence but you are getting it all totally wrong. A false 9 IS NOT an attacking midfielder running into the CF position, rather he is a CF running into the attacking midfield position. Those are two distinct patterns, one is running forward whilst one is running backwards. When you play two forwards one almost always drops into the position that Ahmed Musa was operating from and it is called the SS position not a false 9 position, I mean that was what Anelka used to do at Chelsea, they are not even remotely connected to each other and it is quite funny you are equating the two. As an AMF you can go to any side to detect play, even before Iwobi we had even Di Maria operating as a wide AMF like in that champions league final against Atletico, that one is totally different but a false 9 is a rather distinct position. In conclusion Iheanacho and Musa were playing the SS role not the false 9 role please. to answer your question I could ask you where was Dembele when Messi gave him that pass with which he scored against Chelsea. Or maybe where do you normally see Ronaldo during games? Are they also false 9s? A good coach will tell you that your formation is rigid until you enter the final third of the pitch then you can start being creative with your movements, even if it means a RB occupying a CFs position so long as it is effective. Okay his second goal was scored from which position? 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Mickael2: Why must we tailor our pattern of play to suit players underperforming in that formation? Is it because we don't have other strikers again in Europe that can play in that formation? Why must we play false 9 to accommodate certain players in the national team? When It is not that we don't have strikers that can play in that formation. We do have but Rohr and his crew have tactical blocked these boys from representing their country. The biggest of them all is Kayode Olanrewaju of Sharktar Doneskt. He has refused to give the boy a chance and he tactical dropping him from the world cup list to accommodate some players. I am waiting to see if Rohr will overlook him once he's fit to play and performs week in week out for Sharktar Doneskt in the league and the Champions league. Other players are Nwakaeme, Dessers and Dennis who are Nigerians and also available as strikers to play that role. Therefore, players like Ighalo, Iheanacho and Simy should be dropped if have got nothing to offer in that role. Why keep them and try to tailor the pattern of play to suit their style when they have underperformed and we have serious players ready to take their slots? I think it is high time Rohr kick out underperforming players from the team. There is no need for false 9 nonsense to accommodate certain players in the team. Na dem get national team? 3 Likes |

Mickael2: You don't get me. A false 9 is typically An attacking midfielder or a striker who has been deployed in an attacking position, without having a recognized CF in that game. But often drifts to the midfield and also joins the attack. This is just like describing an advanced attacking midfielder. And note also that the false 9 plays also the SS role and as well as the number 10 role when the need arises in a particular match. This can be or may not be in the game plan. But it does happen. These players are not robots. They cannot play 100% according to instruction And see in coaching, two coaches may not see things exactly the same way , due to different coaching philosophies. Coach A might call Musa an SS in that game another might see him as a false 9. Also depending on what the coach was seeing. Most times players go into the field and not play 100% according to the coach's instructions and u end up seeing him in positions he is not meant to be. It happens a lot with young adventurous players. So bros, you are not Rohr so am I not. We were not there when he drew up his game plan. So u hold on to what u think Musa played and let me hold onto mine. |

BascoVanVeli: Its have nothing to do with skin colors . Its an official match for the qualification to african nation cup 2019 , not a friendly match, not a match between friends in the neighborhood , even for a local championship game it would be not normal . And you can be a terminator , having near you 40.000 poeple that can enter the pitch easily, 40.000 poeple that security service could not get them back in the stands , you will be intimidated , its not fair for an official match . so imagine for professionnal players with millions dollars contract with club who play in europ and always in security conditions ! And even for fans safety 40.000 fan inside for a 25.000 stadium capacity , many gambian fans were unjured, few minutes before match start we have seen many medical evacuations and even an heart massage, cardiac arrest ( see video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jPspzS22hs The algerian players substitutes for the match were sitting next to an advertising billboard literally right on the edge of the pitch. ( pic1) They played some random African pop music instead of the Algerian national anthem. And you think its normal to play in this condition , this is one of the problems of our continent. we justify everything with oh man , this is Africa it's normal . 1 Like

Earthquake1: If you are non-chalant about a player who scored 5 goals with 4 assists in 11 games in the Bundesliga and who worth £28m in the eyes of Everton that rejected a £25m offer for him, then you don't love our National team. A player who has performed at the highest level than Kalu and Henry combined! There is nothing bad having the trio in the team but I doubt one will remain if Lookman and Simon are in the team. I doubt. |
