there is no sense it what you have typed.... The paris fund and bailout fund was given to states because of their inability to pay salary. This is including montly allocation o. Now they've collected tranches upon tranches but yet salary has not been payed... What did the governors (PDP, APC, APGA etc) do with the money? The government is now saying look for us to give u paris fund again, u have to clear the salaries like we agreed b4 now...

The monthly allocation given to these governors is meant to include recurrent expenses ( which is where salary fall) and for infrastructure.... why is then difficult or near impossible to pay the salaries of workers whose money you have collected even with no tangible infrastructure on ground.

I feel that withholding the Paris funds is not punitive enough... i think that if you can't pay salaries for a month without any reasonable , acceptable and humane reason , then you shouldn't expect any allocation for the next month

It's time we start thinking and acting straight

Majority of the states are in massive debts that once the creditors (most times Nigerian banks) deduct the amount owed, the remaining will not be enough to service the salaries of workers

if states are commited to clearing salary areas let them access loan advance from banks and pay salaries then access the Paris Club Refund and repay the banks

Nice one thats a very bright idea that is if you as agovernor cannot pay govt workers salaries for max 2 months then you have no bizness being a gov either you resign or risk the withdrawal of your state allocation i wish they could enact such a law.
