anjilgreat: Being emotional about the stock market is the most effective recipe for disaster and misfortune in it. Actions taken due to annoyance with the market are mostly irrational and end up backfiring badly. 1 Like |

Deadlytruth: a very expensive and traumatic sch fees for me too loll. What makes trading such a art (IMO) is d fact many things can't be thought or some things need a personal experience to get a deeper revelation of our flaws & self sabotaging systems. DOLLARTEX:...depending on what you mean by crash. My definition of crash market is a loss > 50%. NSE ASI has crashed since it has lost more than 50% of its value that was made through Jan 2018. What we are looking at technically are likely points where it can make reversal. The index is testing critical level now, but a break below 32057 will point to further downward price movement to another important level at about 28000. GTB most likely to fall further to a critical level which stands around 26 - 27 now. Someone mentioned about buying GTB at 28. Well, my advise is to ensure you find good buy signal first before risking your money. Average down is not advisable. Talk to your financial adviser for direction. Good luck everyone! 1 Like

fxuser: My teacher Fxuser, I really appreciate you for this update, and particularly for not forgetting my situation. God bless you sir. I was going to put up an update sometimes this week about my action after you gave the analysis (and guide). As I stated, I never practiced stop loss in the past few years. So, I read your reply to my question and that of Oga BullBearMkt almost everyday (I practically read many times almost daily to understand the messages between the lines). I put up 33% of my UCAP holdings for sale, and about 30% was sold at an average of 3.03NGN (20-21% loss) last week. I feel I should have sold at least 50% though. I will watch out for the 2.40NGN you mentioned. I may end up using the free cash for another stock selling at a great discount(after patiently waiting, till the plunging index gives positive signals). Now I am experiencing the feeling that cash is king, even though one of my legs is in the storm. Oga BullBearMkt, Oga Tritri, I appreciate your analysis and guidance back then also. 4 Likes |
