Ajayi crowther may have been a Yoruba nan but he was not a Nigerian

The same goes for Olaudah Equiano. He was an Igbo slave who was taken from Isi-Eke in present day Anambra in 1745. But when he died in London in 1797, not even Lugard who created Nigeria had yet been born.

That's correct! There are many of them like that. Today we call them heroes of Nigeria. Thats a lie.

So, since creation of Nigeria in 1901 who are the true Nigerian heroes?
