Ur assertion that there was no single project under GEJ is not only ludicrous but a grotesque distortion of the truth. These are some of d projects initiated and completed under GEJ:
1. 12 new universities
2. 120 almajiri schools
3. Revival of Lagos-Kano rail
4. Converting Enugu airport to international
5. The YouWIN Scheme
sure-p and youwin was a scam,
Where is the Lagos -kano rail that was completed by your ineffectual buffoon.?
Where is the enugu international airport?
120 class room in 6yrs, what an end time achievement .

Education has indeed gone to the dogs.

Investment is for a future reward but never excludes SPENDING.

Spending is not for an immediate specific need when tied to INVESTMENT.

We are not talking about spending here oh you ignorant one. This OP was all about infrastructure, diversification of the economy via investments into various sections of the economy.

I don't even know why you we finding the simplest of things so difficult. Perhaps its due to your secondary school levels of reasoning.

Ogbeni go and get some much needed education. You are running on fumes with the little you got.

The op was a lie oh deluded zombie. It was an op-ed not based on facts and never mentioned Nigeria as being best economy. Moreso, the website is not Forbes.
Stop confusing urself muddling investment and spending together just to sound learned. It just shows ur shallow or near-zero knowledge of economics or accounting.
I usually don't have time for scums like you, but I'm free to pull ur ears today
This govt can't claim to be doing massive spending on infrastructure and diversification as you claim when it's budget performance as never exceeded 30% since inception never mind the phantom trillions embedded therein

Now here comes the goal post shift as expected.

When their idiocy is exposed they now want to shift goal posts .

I repeat, spending when tied to INVESTMENT does not focus on immediate profit or immediate needs because such investments can be infrastructural in nature. Your obtuse mind still cannot latch on to this.

We are not talking about ACCOUNTING on this thread but ECONOMY. Get that into your obtuse head as you attempt to shift the goal post.

So the trillions budgeted is imaginary, yet the same imaginary trillions was approved after passing through the other arms of government? The opposition couldn't call it phantom trillions but you an armchair critic can?

Go and take several seats. You cannot even process half of what you read which is why you keep responding with inanities.

Another face saving. Please tell us what the exchange was in 1985 before ibb and False the SAP managers started devaluation of Naira.

Again even if you cannot start from 1985, you can at least start from Obj in 1999. Devaluation of national currency is economic management tool used all over the world including big countries like, America,UK and even Russia.

under Buhari between 1983 n 1985, Buhari completely destroyed the value of the naira against the dollar.

If you don't know the relationship between accounting and economics, then ur case is beyond me
This also explains why you don't know the difference between budget process and performance
The budget has never performed beyond 30% which in real terms means it basically cannot meet our recurrent needs not to talk of funding ur so-harped investment

Hurray good news to the patriots. Here is the global rating of Nigeria economy so far so good in 2018.

A standing ovation for the wonderful team of PMB.

Forbes rates Nigeria as 2018 best economy in Africa -

https://www.forbesafrica.com/economy/2018/04/09/making-nigeria/

https://www.von.gov.ng/forbes-rates-nigeria-as-2018-best-economy-in-africa/

Do you agree, please present your argument with facts and figures.

Before you begin to write consider the following points.

Technically this government have liquidated all the loans she took so far. Wait before you cry foul. Nigeria total debt @ December 2014 was $67bill this converted to Naira @ N179/$ is N12Trn. However this same amount converted at current exchange rate @ N310/$ is N20Trn. Now add the 5 months salary borrowed to pay civil servants, N200bill subsidy debt and N1trn owe local contractors.

Considering the fact that current debt profile stood at N22Trn @ N310/$ is just $70bill. This is the fact the opposition doesn't want you to know and the reason they only quote Nigeria debt in Naira to deceive lazy Nigeria who cannot think on their own.

While one will forgive not so intelligent Dino, it's highly pathetic that Peter Obi also follow up on this lie.

Below you will also find Nigeria foreign reserve journey to date

Finally, talking about resources available. Comparing the first 3 years of Gej and PMB, Gej made $393bill while PMB made just $96bill. According to the link below Gej depleted foreign reserve to $29bill and PMB grew it to $45bill. You know what they both did with the resources.

Are you still not convinced, take a trip to Venezuela, or Agentina where interest rate is 60%, Greece, Zimbabwe and I'm sure how mismanaged economy look like

December 2014

At your words in bold, that is why this government is very focused on infrastructure especially the nationwide rail link as well as agriculture and further diversification into other areas.

This is to ensure that our GDP receives a boost and the effect of this boost would trickle down to you and me.

I totally agree, the ERGP was launched by PMB which charts a course for the next four years 2017 - 2020 with a vision of restoring the economic growth, investing in Nigerians and building a globally competitive economy, by focusing on achieving agricultural and food security, ensuring energy efficiency, improving transportation infrastructure and driving industrialization primarily through SMEs and so far, it has recorded great success. we now grow what we eat, undergraduates and business owners now have something to hold on to; N- Power and the MSME that has provided loans to small and medium scale business owners.

You are officially a móron with this comment of yours regarding USA.

This is from the below link from wall street Journal which is a 2015 article

NEW YORK—Oil prices capped a second year as one of the worst-performing commodities, as a global glut of crude continued to weigh on the market.

After plunging from more than $100 a barrel to nearly $50 a barrel last year, U.S. oil prices fell 30% in 2015 to $37.04 a barrel. Brent, the global benchmark, fell 35% to $37.28 a barrel.

U.S. prices posted a second straight annual loss for the first time since 1998. Brent prices fell for a third straight year

Now your illiteracy is irreversible and I can see you're committed to a lifetime of willful deceit and economic ignorance

How does fall in oil price translate to global economic recession
You're just wallowing in ignorance. The US economy had no recession in 2015. Nigeria entered recession in 2015, the 1st in 26 years. I challenge you to bring a link showing the US economy or any developed economy for that matter in recession in 2015
Do this and I'll accept ur assertion

FYI the Nigerian recession was due to Buhari's poor handling of our economy as I posited above. Those three factors are what led to the recession
Let me also inform you that Nigeria did not experience recession in 2009 despite the global crisis due to prudent management of the economy
Also, you can't compare Nigeria's GDP with that of Venezuela, so economically, its a shame we ended up in the same boat in 2015 ask thanks to buhari
