If none, whosoever you are calling for help or has suspiciously offered to help, be extra vigilant and I am sure you can do without giving out your card pin, if it gets to the point of inputting your card pin, step up and do it yourself

Was withdrawn to 1.1millions. They'll have many bank ATM card and will swap with the exact bank card. We just need to be careful with our account transaction.

Why on earth will a customer disclose his or her personalized identification number to a stranger. Why then is it called personalized.

Early this year i walk up to my bank to withdraw money. After some minutes i joined the queue, a suspicious fellow approached me from a distance pleading for my assistance when it gets to his turn to withdraw. Having sensed his desperation which is suspicious, i directed him to meet the security personnel. He pretended as if he didn't hear me. That was when i became more conscious. By the time i withdrew, because he stood right beside me i had to cover the keys with my hands. When i was about leaving the premises, he approached me begging me to withdraw money with his ATM card on his behalf on the grounds that he's a novice but i responded bluntly this time as i directed him to seek assistance from security personnel. I wouldn't be surprised if the ATM was snatched at a gunpoint but because he didn't want his face to be shown, he resorted to using someone else as a scapegoat.

One guy called me today he called my name, Bvn and eventually date of birth saying that someone tried to withdraw money with ATM from my GTB account to Union bank

He was asking if I am awear of it although I don't have account with any of the banks

I just screamed 419 Thief! And the guy ended the call.

Hope he won't use my Bvn to trace my real account?

This type of trick is cheap and dry. I mean how could u have swapped my UBA with First Bank card without my notice?

Even when u swap same bank ATM card I will notice it

Nope, They have different cards, they ain't stupid.

Besides the annoying thing is the way some Nigerians want enter the ATM together with you especially when the line too long, Though it's fun when women do it , I hate it when a fellow grown man comes way too close to me during ATM transactions.

P.S I only carry one ATM card with me, Then transfer the amount I need from my other bank to the said ATM, so this trick is useless on me

They'll swap the card wit same bank's card but will make sure that the machine traps the swapped card by inputting a wrong PIN. They'll be the ones to advice to enter inside the bank and inform the ATM custodian.
