My research shows Ambode's problems started as soon as Dapo Apara (Alpha Beta MD) opened up the can of worms at Alpha Beta. Ambode didn't do much to placate Mr.Dapo Apara hence the money laundering allegation.

Ambode should have bribed Dapo to stop him from spilling the beans. With the revelation, it was only a matter of time before Tinubu picks another man he knows can protect his interest in Lagos state. There's a reason Lagos state refused to obey court order in revealing its finances.
