Hahaha including EFCC and DSS are Skye bank stakeholders. People distance themselves, because once one invested a huge amount of money there, you will be noticed, the less will be history.

Minus that, Skye bank would have gone the way of intercontinental and oceanic bank.

Chiboy, how far with JB, does it still have the midas touch?

Thank you.

Minus election JB would have sky rocketed by now. Currently it comes down to #22/25 from #28, when compared with some other good stocks, like Flourmill that come down from around #37 to #19, Zenith from #33 to #19, GTB from close to #50 to #32, and many others. JB loses little percentage when compared with them.

Bear respect no stock, the moment Nigeria political atmosphere changes, I started my announcement of coming bear, I advice people to bail out, I would not encourage people to bailout and you still expect me to stay back.

I want JB at around #12 junction during February/ March bonanza period, because it will move up faster if the incoming government favour them. grin grin grin,

Market is not smiling at all
If you are still inside, are you trying to average down, or you willingly want to downsize your capital?

What goes up must surely come down. The way market moves up in January, is the way the stocks are coming down.

Chibuking81:

It's time to take us serious, I am non sentimental individual, I stand on truth and reality. The way many attend prosperity preaching church, than salvation preaching church, is the way many here like bull posting quote, that bear present warning.

This period came earlier than expected, that's why many are trapped, as some will always buy hoping that a particular stock has bottomed out, only to discover that the gear to southern pole has just change to the next higher gear.

Chibuking81:

I know the attack will come. When I was telling them earlier to sell and join the waiting mode members, they refuse, only to buy more to average down. Despite the attack, I will continue because we are friends and partner in progress.

Election period will be an interested time to buy. It will be a bonanza period, buy 1 and get 1 free.
Bear will be in total control, immediately after q2 result, if you are interested make use of this information. Some people usually make money during the bear, but on a single bear hit, they lose times two of what they gain.

The coming election will not be smooth at all, so many big weight from the North are showing interest in the presidential seat,
https://politicsngr.com/just-apc-loses-majority-national-assembly/
R- APC just came up few days ago from APC, when APC are tackling the agitation of New-PDP in their fold, and the entire country are tired of the APC control government with their poverty method of fighting corruption.
The worse corruption fight, is when poverty take a center stage, and the fight becoming instrument of fighting the opponent.

PDP, and other parties are seriously discussing on how to merge. From the look of things, and majority wishes, APC is losing the fight, this will usher in new government with new policy.

Good investors always take advantage of this situation, foreign investors always pull out their fund, and standby to watch, before coming in again.

Bear dominating the market during election is certain and 100 % feasible. Any bull present from now on will be an artificial one, and will be a dumping avenue.

Kudos to those keeping this forum lively, also the bear Jijo group.

HOW FAR CAN THE NIGERIAN STOCK MARKET FALL?

SOURCE: https://brandspurng.com/how-far-can-the-nigerian-stock-market-fall/

The Nigerian Stock Market began 2018 on a high, recording over 17% in the first few weeks. This was on the back of strong optimism of sustained recovery and growth which was expected in global economies. For Nigeria in particular, many variables were in our favours such as Rising Crude Oil prices, Accruing FX reserves and relatively stable FX.

Despite these favourable conditions which still exist, Year to date (YTD), the Stock Market has performed poorly recording a negative. The first reason for this decline was the US double rate hike in March and June. The second is the political risk associated with the upcoming Nigerian elections in 2019. All these have resulted in foreign portfolio investors exiting the country.

Considering the bearish state of the market, most investors have become very cautious. According to Warren Buffet, a seasoned investor who is among the Top 10 richest men in the world, this is the time to start investing in stocks. It is a known fact that the best time to invest is when stock prices are declining. But now the question is, how far will the Nigerian Stock Market fall?

For now, it is almost uncertain to say when the market will stop its bearish trend and start its recovery, due to the many uncertainties that exist and are predicted to come globally and domestically. Some of these uncertainties include crude oil price fluctuations, trade war initiated by the US, expected increase in US rates, Nigeria’s Elections, etc.

However, we advise that investors can begin investing in stocks bit by bit, especially in those with strong fundamentals. Some of these stocks have declined by over 50% which makes them very attractive. Spreading your investment in such stocks at different low prices reduces your average entry price, thereby increasing your profit potential once it rebounds.

In 2019, our expectation for the performance of the stock market is bullish. We believe as the political situation of the country gets clearer and shows signs of stability, the market will experience a rebound. In addition to this, we believe crude oil prices within this period will not fall below $60 which is positive for the country.

Attached are the changes in prices of selected stocks so far in the year….

I would have bring it back to December, but I follow and listen to my spirit. Anything this year is red signal, but I can review it to January 2019. My spirit never lie to me, but when ever I do otherwise I do regret it. So 2019 is both bonanza period and year of making money. shocked

Its really terible. I've not seen a stock shed 11% in one trading day since the new rule took effect. Could have happened before though, I've been less observant in recent times. What's there to even observe smiley
