As much as Sowore has good intentions for Nigerians, he should mind the promises he makes during campaigns. Its very easy to promise people heaven and heart just to win them over, but reality sets if he wins. On the surface, 100k naira minimum wage sounds cool, but is it really realistic? |

Nigerian youths don't want change. they dont want good governance. all they want is to get rich quick and drive the latest car and slay in the best clothes and look cute in pictures with their family so that they can flaunt it on Nairaland and Instagram and become the talk of the town and relocate to the poshest neighbourhood in Lagos and jet out of the country on vacation to Dubai, America etc. And that is the mindset of the average Nigerian youth. A sensible person will ask questions like, ok, so how exactly can Mr. Sowore achieve this? What are his plans for dealing with inflation, national debt, decaying infrastructure, etc. just go back to the beginning of this tread and check the quality of the conversation and you'll know there is something fundamentally wrong with the Nigerian youth. 4 Likes |

a youth comes out and says something and it becomes an issue but one of these oldies comes out to say something more outrageous and the hypocrites start clapping and shouting sai baba or shouting whatever slang dere can think of, zamani or watever. better we decide where we want to be either to progress or hold on to the crumbs giving elites. i hate all these eye service and lip service followers and ambassadors of good governance in this country. |

Sowore.. Ambitious...fearless. Youthful activist... In tune with the yearnings of the common citizen. Telling them "I am taking this power for you" "To hell with these old men" "We'll export weed" "Everybody will be rich".. This is how dictators were born. Nobody knew they'd turn out to be dictators. Give them the power first. Everything must happen by force without a sound plan. In the end more people will suffer. |

N100k/pm non sense, I initially thought this guy is serious, not that he had a credible chance of even winning a single LGA talkless of been a threat to anyone nationally; but because he represents the youths embracing politics and will serve as encouragement to other youth to join. But, the day the news crossed that he will legalize marijuana, I coulded that he is not only serious but consciously killing his chances of winning his ward. He must have been setup by someone paying him good money to distract attention. How much is he paying Sahara Reporters in Nigeria? Are they getting upto N100k/pm? |
