Bros, I understand your frustration at Moses' abrupt retirement at such a young age. Me self when I heard he retired so early I was angry with him too. But let's look at this Nigerian team objectively. We're not like France or Spain that can afford to loose talented players of Moses' kind, we need all the help we can get.
We are starting to accumulate more talent and I believe we will one day get to a level where we can drop a few good but not great player's but right now the focus is on building a stronger team. I don't mind if Moses wants to come back but the choice is his to make.

Respect for this post. You sabi shumthing. cool

Victor Moses hints on likely Eagles return

By Editor - September 13, 2018

Football fans in Nigeria might be smiling again as their favourite player Victor Moses might likely make a return to the Super Eagles team.

The Chelsea winger retired from international football some weeks back and that has caused mixed reactions from football fans in Nigeria.

At the age of 27, a player should be at his peak, but the reverse was the case for the former Liverpool winger who called it quit with national team duties.

Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr recently stated that the door is always open to the skillful player’s return to the senior national side.

Victor Moses Instagram status showed that he is still available selection for Nigeria and Chelsea, giving football lovers in the West African country hope of his likely return to the Super Eagles.

Despite the inclusions of fresh blood in the Eagles recent victories over Seychelles and Libya, the team didn’t look convincing.

http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/954159296?-21310:11479:3

Tell him we dont need him as we only need players with burning desires to wear the green Jersey, which he isn't. Tell him to concentrate on his family and of course his club football bench role. He can only join the team as a mere fan if he truly wants back, definitely not as a player no more. His time is up

If he stays he is blocking the path of one of our young wingers who are hungry to play for the national team

He should stay retired so these young boys can be blended in the team before AFCON 2019 and the next world cup

a living dog is way better than a dead lion.
a player playing week in week out in burley is way better than one who barely make match day squad in a team like Chelsea

you really need to build your Self esteem...and treat yourself with respect.... don't be a push over.

give any of those promising young lads the opportunity they will grow to become world class...
even the array of English boys we've been try to corner player for us...like lookman will step in and likely even play better than the Moses you're worshipping.

It's our prayer these lads surpass Vicmo but as it stands, we never see.

Yes! Burley regular is better than Fabregas the Chelsea bench warmer. Wow!

The last time I checked, Vicmo played a game out of 4 matches this season. Abi e don pass 4 matches?

The Headline and the Lead Bruh...... They often prepare to tell the whole Story in Brief. Many won't bother to read the Story, they would jump to Conclusion that you've started your Hatred against certain Players from certain part of the Country.

Later you will ask me to caution another person.

What is the meaning of this your post now?

Why must you bring tribalism in your discussions even where it is not necessary?

What is the tribal sentiment of Musa being rated best player for that game?

Please leave all these your skewed reasoning aside and let's discuss football straight.

Well.... No one is perfect, and we understand things in different Views. The Content of the Post had no issue but the Headline and the Lead paragraph(s) can ignite unnecessary Debate because of the OP!

I do not mean any harm or cause any sort of tribal hullabaloo. But I tender my Apologies if at all my Post is wrong.

The fact is that his house is not in order. Forget the world cup, this NFF has been a failure.

There is nothing that will warrant any tribal hullabalooo. Most peeps irrespective of ethnicity think Kalu was the best player but EA sport thinks other-wise. Any body that thinks Kalu was better than Musa should come up and table his arguments with facts. That's all.

Well, this is a completely different formation from the one you described earlier. And I must say it looks a lot workable.

Now on the issue of a number 10. I never said there must be a number 10. I only mentioned it as a possible option for u to play one behind your striker. And u also needed a box to box midfielder. Well, from the formation u posted above you selected a number 10 in Iheanacho.

In a typical 4-5-1 formation or any variant of it u need the number 10 player behind the CF. But in a typical 4-4-2, u only have an SS and a box to box midfielder. No recognized number 10.

I only watched little of the Spain vs Croatia game. What formation did they play?

Good evening. They played a 4-3-3. No recognized 10. No worry about the "space" behind the striker.
Busquets in the screenshot there is positioned much deeper, just in front of the backline

Modified: Again, the formation I forwarded previously. If the 3 players are to feature.

Simon---Musa--Kalu

-----Iwobi--Etebo--

--------Mikel-----

Idowu-Balogun-Ekong-Ajayi

I later saw the game and Yes Spain played 4-3-3 with Busquests as the box to box midfielder and no recognized 10 behind the striker.

On your Nigeria formation, when was the last time Mikel played DM? If Mikel is available he will definitely play a more advanced role than the DM.

Now on Etebor and Iwobi I hope you are not implying where u positioned them are RMF and LMF like u proposed earlier? Because what u have there look more like two CMs.

I didn't mean literally sir but we are talking about an NFF that has failed in basically everything outside the world cup. For starters they are sexist and our female football has degraded since they took over, failed at qualifying for 2 AFCONs, U17 and U20 world cup. Now he sold our birthright away without much of an explanation.

I'm not advocating anybody but I won't lie and say that Pinnick's NFF has been good for Nigerian football. I would like to see an ex professional in that seat. Someone who understands our football and can come up with a way forward.

That is the idea but first CAF must do the final inspection. All the news coming out is unfair to Cameroon, they should wait until the d day to make comments. The fact is that only south Africa can beat their chest and say they can host the new AFCON.

I biased and selfish with regards to.my preference for Morocco. Logistically much easier for me I would actually come down for tournament, indeed would drive down its not too far from England.
