She has to be tried, sentenced to community service or pardoned by Buhari. Presidential pardon is best. The woman is actually talented and hard working and wants to remain in politics. What Buhari should now do is replace her with a core Hausa Fulani appointee and GOD will cut off the head of any IPIB who complains. |

obailala: Absolutely true, some people here just want her to be hanged on a gallow. They even blame her for the recession as if kemi should have used a magic wand to fix Nigerian economy. Even if you put 1000 ngozi there, the truth remain there is nt quick fix to Nigeria economy. 2 Likes |

Racoon: A very big question to this government's anti corruption crusade: 1.Their search net never saw her forged certificate till an online media reported it.... But why? 2. Even after confirming her certificate was fake, they never mustered the courage to sack her as a proof of sincerity to the crusade of fighting corruption..... But why?? 3. Now that she has owned up to the crime and dishonourably resigned, no one from government attack dogs shall prosecute her to show the efficacy of anti-corruption crusade.... But why This government and their various chinko policies and programmes are fake!! |

Omobada: Interesting. One would think it is still a crime only that the degree reduces. That is if the suspect is able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that she never knew the said document was fake which again would be quite difficult. |

Napoleondegreat:She didn't have any courage to resign, Buhari asked her to resign in retaliation to what Osinbanjo did to former DSS boss, you think they were happy that the VP sack the DSS boss. This Kemi issue would have been covered up completely if that DSS boss wasn't sack. The cabals are working, next target will be the VP himself, if care is not taken, he will be replace. You think the cabals/presidency were happy for what he did. Modify: Now back to the subject matter, she is a suspect and should be charge for forgery. Ignorance they said is not an excuse. She knew everything but can only claim she never knew it was Oluwole certificate because her boble don burst. Even Evans the kidnapper is still claiming he never told the Police that he is a kidnapper. |

She did the needful, although very late but I have to give her some respect now. When mistake is made, the honourable thing is to admit it, and that earns respect. |

YorubaAssasin:. So does it just end with her resignation? A crime has been committed by her and/or her agents. Prosecution should follow. How do we know for real that she didn't know all these while that she was in possession of a forged discharge certificate? |

We are indeed in era of sanity in Governance unlike PDP era. Nothing go happen and she will not resign. Ibori was then accused of being an ex-convict in London then and a bus driver came out to claim he was the one. No further investigation was carried out to know if he has even traveled out of this country before. She resigned honourably.. |

faceURfront: Bros, don't mind this idiots. Her story is actually meant for halfwits like them to have something to chew on. 1. Under normal circumstances, you're supposed to apply and receive ANY certificate IN PERSON and not by proxy. It is the culture of big manism and favouritism that has made collection by proxy normal in Nigeria 2. NYSC rules are clear and not ambiguous. I'm sure she was assured that they could find a way round it which she joyfully agreed to. In agreeing to that, it definitely behoves on her to ensure that whatever was being done in her name was the right thing or at least genuine. 3. Truth is she could easily have obtained genuine exemption even as she's not eligible, but her nonchalance led her into the wrong hands 2 Likes |

Hahaha,u.k citizen indeed, see how she indicted our security agencies and exposed their inadequacies by her scaling of their screens on her certificates, this is the right time now to ask all returnees prancing about in jobs in nigeria to submit their nysc certificate for proper screening. |

modik: I don't blame you, internet has given room to people who don't reconcile facts with reality. How much is Nigeria' s current earning on oil per barrel and how much was Nigeria earning per barrel under the previous govt? In a country that import almost everything and borrow to sustain her national budget, in fact it has become a norm for us to borrow from other nations administration after administration. Do you ever wonder why gej tried to remove subsidy on PMS? |

I don't want to believe this emotional packed letter, even though I am a Buharist and truly like Adeosun! I don't believe Adeosun had never heard of NYSC prior to her return or the consequences of not serving her father land. I believe her parents, her siblings, relatives or somebody close to her all knew about NYSC. The problem is, most people born(citizen) abroad, grew up there and working also there, would not thought of coming back here to work, especially when they usually see Nigeria as a backward nation and therefore give no damn about NYSC by wasting a year for serving a purported father land that he/she father left. Using a year to serve a father land for peanut allowance when there are well paid jobs outside Nigeria for you. But unknown to her, she has a date with Nigerian government! |
Re: Kemi Adeosun's Resignation Letter (Full Text) by conscienceman4(m): 6:53am On Sep 15, 2018 |
Can you just apply to NYSC for an exemption certificate without NYSC writing your school for any form of verification before issuing the said certificate? Adeosun of all people should have known that there are forms to be filled, letters to be written and all that. Let her face the court please. At least to fulfill the saying that "nobody is above the law". And let those that have no certificate Forge No More. |

Buterflyle0:I know say you must sympathise with her, after all una be birds of a feather. Okay make I ask you, that Britain wey dem born am shey dem go allow go like that just because say she write letter say she no know say na fake? Shey dem no go say make she produce the person wey give am fake certificate? So you want the matter to just die like that without any one being punished. You want to tell me that you believe that the certificate just fell into her hands without exchange of money with anyone. Even genuine certificates attract one sort of processing fee or the other. Who did she pay to? In a matter like this, someone has to go to jail, if she cannot provide the person, then she would have to do. That's how advanced countries work. 1 Like |

The whole world is watching Nigeria right now on this certificate forgery scandal of a whole Nigerian finance minister The world is watching Buhari right now and his next step. See, to put Nigeria on the right spot, please Nigerian government should do some arrange arrest and arrest Kemi, then charge her to court, and let a judge convict her of certificate forgery as she pleads guilty on the pretence of ignorance, and then let her mention some dead civil servants as her accomplice, then the judge should give her like 5 years jail term, then Buhari as usual cowhary can give her presidential pardon, but let the world know that Nigeria jailed her for certificate forgery and it will help correct our shattered image abroad pls 1 Like |

All these hired agents and ipob miscreants spewing verbiage on a straight forward matter. Very lazy people, they won't read and will be making senseless comment. Kemi was accused of presenting a forged Nysc exemption certificate. The woman has brilliantly established her innocence in her resignation letter. She has resigned honourably, something so rare in this part of the world. God bless her more. Let's be clear on this: she cannot be charged for forgery because she didn't forged the exemption certificate nor presented it knowing that it was not genuine. She innocently presented the same certicate to Ogun State legislature as far back as 2011 and was cleared to serve as finance commissioner. Again, in 2015, DSS cleared the same certifcate for her to be appointed minister. Where is the woman's fault or Buhari's offence here? God bless you more Kemi. Altho you were born, schooled and raised in UK you chose to come and serve your fatherland and you served diligently. You deserve a national award - where many will steal and loot you served honestly. You are known to be a bornagain, I urge you not to take offence with people who belong to the same faith as you but are wickedly calling for your head because of political or ethnic sentiments - they are all fake and they think everyone is fake like them. 2 Likes 1 Share |

. Pure trash!!! quote author=babyphaze07 post=71208327]I thank you for a job well done. Indeed you have done us proud by putting this country into recession which inflicted a lot of sufferings on the populace. You policies such as borrowing to finance the budget has increased our total both internal and external debt. Nigerians won't forget this. Your name is written in gold in Nigeria history as a minister with a forged certificate. Nigerians would have wished if PMB could resign too. [/quote] |
