Was expecting him to withdraw Matic for Fred or another mobile midfielder (leave Fellaini for threats from long balls), Watford came out to play in the second half, just freaking keep possession.

Yes, that is exactly what I was talking about. What is needed now is the discipline required to kill a game. Once we take a lead we tend to relax. Two nil up seems worse and Pogba is the principal culprit. He had a very good game but usually become too casual when we lead. We should play with same purpose, commitment and hunger when we are leading.

Good game from Smalling, but he keeps making very serious mistakes, something he has been doing since he was young. He wraps his hands around a striker when defending long balls into our box and around it. He could have caused a penalty today. He caused a needless freekick in front of the box.

I find it hard to take Luke Shaw over Young on the left back. That has always been my opinion. I think Young is better in all aspects- defending, playing,going forward and crossing. May be Shaw has to gradually wait for his turn.

Young is far better and compliment the forwards better. Luke Shaw attacking play is laboured. I will take even Blind over Shaw if he were around. Fluent passing is a problem for Shaw, so it is hard to play along him on that left. If he got the space to run forward with speed, good. But those spaces don't come often.

Shaw is very good running with the ball, he makes our attack look better.... And it's easier for him to just cross the ball with his left leg, young will first position himself..

Shaw is more predictable and causes obstacle to fluent attacking play from the left.
