likewise Saskatchewan, IMO don't think scores are coming down soon. start learning french.
It's not that easy na. I mean see how IELTS is dealing with people who have been speaking English all their lives. How much more a language you only know two words in?

Hello guys,

I have an issue with how to calculate my weekly work duration on the reference letter. I work on a 21/14 rotation, I.e twelve hours daily for twenty-one days, before proceeding on a fourteen days time off.

I want to know if should state all of these details on my reference letter, and won't it be outrageous if I state that I work 84 days in a week period?
Explain it the same way you wrote it here.

@Newmum and all the senior apostles in the assembly...I caould not hold myself again o..lol.

So I submitted my PR application on Jul 31st( 1am naija time) which was still 30th July (Canada time). Even though it stated that biometric will be required as from Jul 31st, when I was paying my application fee, Biometric fee wasn't included so i just went on to pay like that.

I got AOR within 20mins of paying and waited. After waiting for 30days I got an update mail and checked my account only to see that it was only my UCI number that got updated. Up until now(47days and counting) no MEP, Biometric letter or any other update aside that initial UCI status update.

I am almost going gaga...loool..I need assurance o..anybori..sombori...
If the biometrics fee was not added to the application fees you paid, then you beat the biometrics deadline. Stop worrying about it

@wenks, I am not sure anyone knows the timelines with application processing these days. A lot has changed since the introduction of biometrics, but I believe you are on track based on recent feedback from people who submitted within the same time period as you. Take your mind off it, no matter how difficult it seems, and be prepared to order GCMS notes if you still don't notice any significant progress by day 60.

Good day @newmum0615, i sent you a PM ma. kindly help look into the matter.

regards

I believe dis score is from d Manitoba PNP EOI and not EE.

candyce:
if your score is 552, why go through pnp in the first place? Are you sure your score was well calculated? Except you schooled or worked in canada.

I had to quote this bros in full, not a word removed!

To those entering this Canadian hustle via federal skilled worker category of the express entry (and are quick to grumbling after 3 weeks post-AOR grin), I present to you this day, the REAL MVP of this Canadian hustle.

This bros truly knows what it is to be patient! 2 years from application for Manitoba's PNP (paper based) nomination to PPR! Are you kidding me

This bros deserves some accolades, abeg.

All I can tell you @Stratnergy is that in as much that I know that you will forever appreciate this long fought-for dream that God delivered as victory into your hands, watch out, God will settle you big time in Canada, he's not done with you yet in blessing!

Go and flourish in Canny, it has ended for you in praise for this phase!

Bro, thanks a bunch. It was actually a very looooong walk. The struggle actually started in 2013 when I submitted the first application to MPNP but that was refused in 2015. All hope seemed lost but we got inspirations from families and here we are, on the way to Canada.

The lesson which the process taught me is that if you have a dream, be true to it and remain focused.

There are a total of about 261 working days in a year.
A full-time working day is 8 hours.
Typical 40h/week = 2080h/yr (or CIC 30h/week = 1560h/yr).
And as applicable to certain professions (e.g. nurses or doctors on night shift), your working hr is not really 84h per week but approx 50h per week (252h per 5 weeks) as you can't discount your work free days off your calculations.
I suppose you're good with an explanation.

I would like to thank all who responded to my post. Thanks for the show of love. We won't be applying for a remark this time around. We will pursue the transcript harder so the dependent can add ECA to our CRS. Meanwhile we pray that the draw will drop and favor us at 435. This ielts palava has done us strong tin.especially to the family's pocket. Almost 500k has gone to it already , e don do for now. We will explore other options. God bless you all.

People of God!!! LONG TIME NO SEEEEE. I have come to testify o. To the Glory of God the dependent has gotten the transcript finally. It was released from OOU a couple of days ago after about 11months. We have sent it to WES and we await a SPEEDY evaluation. I wish everyone that is somewhat stuck or being delayed on any level of the process a quick release IJN. Please lets keep pushing, we will get there if we keep moving. No matter how long it seems to take WE WILL GET THERE....

Stay woke guys. Stay woke.

Dear All,

Kindly assist as i think I may have goofed in this regard. I had a brief stint with a small consulting firm as a part time gig for close to a year and didn't disclose owning to the informal nature of the job. I am currently in IP2 and need to know if it would be necessary for me to raise a cse and place it under personal history at this point or just let it go! Please your candid opinion will be highly appreciated

Did you leave any gap in your employment history, was the work paid for and how long ago was it?

IMO, it is not a big issue as it is informal and there are no gaps in your employment record. Unless in light of the story yesterday, you have made a big deal of it in social media or it is so recent that it shows regular payment in your 6 months statement of accounts.
My 2cents. Others can add.

These questions you ask are readily available on the respective web pages of these organizations.

https://www.bcit.ca/ices/eca/servicefees.shtml

Every school has unique logistic costs for getting educational transcripts. The bench mark is usually what ICES or WES charge plus courier fees for sending the package. ICES accepts e-mail from institutions(verifiable e-mail) and so I am hoping that should cut down some cost with regards to courier services. The evaluation period for ICES is 8 weeks. I did not use them, so i have no further info. I went online to find these for you.

But then, i stand to be corrected. Please get on their website and read the requirements to know what is most suitable for you.

Cheers.

Hey People,

If you are stuck somewhere in the process of evaluating your transcript from the University of Lagos or, you are about to commence with an evaluation, PM me for a contact that will assist you to get it done asap. I see no reason why a transcript evaluation should be stuck for 11 months. God help us ooo angry

Cheers.
