My friend picked up his VISA today after three months of application. He was supposed to travel for his PLAB exam which held on 6th September. We thought they weren't going to give him Visa again, since the date has exam date has passed. Thank God anyway, he will register for the next exam. |

Hello everyone. I just stumbled on this thread and I can see the good works here. Please I got a 2years contract job in UK, the company pays for my flight, accommodation, feeding and other benefits stated in my appointment letter. My questions are: 1. What visa type do I need to apply for, tier 2 or 5? 2. What documents do I need to submit and do I need to submit account statement since I am fully sponsored by the company? 3. Is visa applications only done in Lagos or one can apply in Abuja( If yes which is better)? Please note I am a first timer with virgin passport, no travel history outside Nigeria. I really need your answers. Thanks |

vinon: I never heard of a company whether private or public sponsoring a staff leisure holiday . You need work very hard to convince the ECO that this is possible. Regarding documents.. this is like you sponsoring yourself the only difference here is that you need a letter from your company explaining why they are sponsoring you and your employment details 1 Like |

Hello house , if I have someone in Scotland who wants to help me to come over there, for a long time stuff. Please what is the best route to follow. We are not related, neither do we have any relationship thing. Just friends and she's way older than I am. And wants to help me, though she's not too strong financially. |

Greatg0809: What do you need a business account for in your application, what stops you from using your personal account if I may ask? I thought that was always the best to use for personal vacations and not the other way round . What's all these unnecessary dichotomy between these accounts about lately sef? What exactly are we misunderstanding? |

Hello house! My dependant was denied his visa and applied for an administrative review. The review was successful and decision overturned. Please I would like to know (1) how long it takes UKVI to ask you to send your passport for visa stamp? (2) how long does it take for visa to be stamped and passport returned. Your responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

Ggood morning, pls someone help answer some or all. Abeg I am married with a kid. My husband did his masters in Uk and also got his post study visa afterwards. I joined him at one time and we returned to Nigeria before it expired. 4 years later we want to visit the Uk. He has a cousin married with 5 kids leaving there and my kid and I will like to spend the Christmas with them. I run my own firm for 2 years now and sincerely haven’t started working on my tax certificate. I have savings of about 2m. I run a company account but my personal current account were sometimes used for operations especially if it’s same bank. My husband runs a contract agreement with a firm so he isn’t paid monthly but based on clientele and at the end of financial year, a certain amount is paid. I am sponsoring the trip. I haven’t been consistent in paying myself monthly. My questions are Should I fill not applicable in where they asked for monthly salary as I haven’t been sending a regular amount to myself. Since my husband has history in the uk should he apply with us. Even though he is not going with us. Also won’t this make our budget higher Our accommodation and feeding is sorted so what will my budget look like. What documents can I present from his cousin What documents can I present. What’s the success rate if I apply for just myself and kid rather than he applies for 3 of us. His account statement may not cover us but he is also a director in my business I run. Lastly i do not have my tax clearance. How does this affect. Pls pardon the long write up. Thank you. |
