AXA has both mobile and web tools for monitoring your investments. In addition, they have good rates on average most of the time. They also handle redemption within 24hrs of request. They are in fact one of the best. Load the mobile app from playstore by searching with MyAXA. Follow the link below for the web tool. However, you have to have requested for online access. Happy investing.

You think the example I talked about was generated frm where? Stop deceiving yourself, Axa doesnt have the best rates.

It's time to Port again ooo

A very good morning.

Guys I have learnt a lot from this group and it would be beneficial to share some of the tips i am adopting.

If you know you don't need your cash in 6 month or 1 year time, now is the time to invest in TB (some MMF rates are not juicy again) You can go to your banks and ask for rates GTB, FBN & STANBIC are my picks.

Work out some % of your money and invest bit by bit as the rates might increase over the coming weeks/months.

So if you wanna follow the train...port oooooo
Is Capital guaranteed for Treasury Bills?

How was this calculated? coz going by I = P x R x T/100 where Time =1 year =365days then
Interest per day = P x R /36500
I observed an interest of N30.79 on N100,000 principal
Therefore R = I x 36500/P = 30.79 x 36500/100,000 = 11.23835 approx. 11.24%

I stand to be corrected

Well, we have different experience.
However, I have always been seeing my accrued interest increasing every day. Even the one for Sat n sun has been added together and credited this morning. Any day I forgot to check, the following day, I will see almost twice of the interest. The daily interest rate indicated on the portal has always being correct.
So far so good, they have been transparent.

Now, tell me which MMF suits your taste (based on what you said)

Axa mansard does not credit me on Fridays & Mondays, it stays put on previous week's Thursday rate till Tuesday next week.
Have you bothered to ask yourself how they arrived at what they credited you?

I do get my interest on Friday and Monday.
I guess there is something wrong with your account
On Monday morning, I do get for the weekend

At 12.2%, you think the rate is not good enough. Even if it is not the best, but at least, one of the best
Even stanbic true yield is not even up-to 11%. Tell me the one that currently suits your taste so that we can learn.

List at least, two MMF that does that. I have asked you to list those MMF that are better than Axa and reason why. Let us learn from each other.
I have 6 different MMF account, so, I know the reason why I said you should list at least two.
From my experience, none of them is 100% perfect.

Then, be bold enough to list just two MMFs that are far better than them in all index.

Since I have been using both of them, axa rate is always higher than stanbic. I am not talking about the rates they displayed on their sites, but the actual rates that were credited to my account.

Thank you. Stanbic rates always look so low. I feel like transferring the money there to AXAMansard

Your interest for Saturday and Sunday is paid on Monday between the 9am to 2pm or sometimes to 3pm. What I do is to check every 30 minutes from 9am and you will notice the first difference from which you can calculate the interest rate. Continue checking as stated above and you will see that of Sunday and Monday and then you can calculate the interest rate. From my experience, weekend rate is close to what is quoted on the website on Thursday.

I know this is a crooked way of checking but I am impressed with the redemption speed.

Develop an excel sheet to enable you compare the quoted and actual rate.

Exactly.
I don't know why his account doesn't get credited on Monday and Friday.

For the redemption, if you applied before 1pm, you are likely to get it that same day, however, irrespective of the time applied, it is Max of 24hrs.
Like you said, the redemption speed is there.

Axa as at yesterday was 12.10
What I mean is that, he should tell us which MMF is better than axa in all factors (not only rates)
12.10 is not bad
He is not only complaining about rates.
Let us compare them in terms of rates, subscription time, redemption time, flexibility, transparency, access to information, time it takes to respond to issues etc
We will all learn from this you know

Using rate as a case study, as at today : Stanbic (10.69), Axa (12.07)
Using redemption rate : I am yet to redeem on stanbic, but axa takes Max of 24hrs.
Based on the two factors above, I think axa is better than stanbic (MY OWN RECOMMENDATION)
the only advantage stanbic has over axa is that the reinvest interest probably on weekly bases but axa don't reinvest until the end of the quarter.

Reinvestment when the underlying asset matures means?

Can we also put ARM mmf in this comparison

Bros how did you arrive at 10.69% for stanbic? Is there is link to view it? Axa is said to be 12.05 from my chat with customer care
