I hope that's what it is, but I doubt it. I haven't even done my biometrics. I plan to do it next week.

Same with me..got ghost update lastnight and will just have my biometrics done today. Maybe it means our background check is also completed. #fingersCrossed.

It looks to me like they were not sure if the capture was complete or not. Ideally you should get your Biometric status as completed by now. It normally updated in less than 6hrs
HRgirl:
My good people! Good evening to you all and congrats to all who recieved PPR and ITA!

Please i want to ask, after biometrics today i was asked to return one piece of paper they stapled something like a receipt on it. They said if i check my status and it is updated i should send that back to them. Is that how they operate? Because going back there again seems like going to the enf of the earth to me right now based on schedule and all.. is it really necessary??

Hello Everyone!! Congratulations to @Jelmusboy and @VFUSION

Congratulations to all ITA recipients as well, I wish you speedy PPR.

Also, belated birthday to you @Mcstan.

Guys, just hang in there ok? We will all get there someday....delay isn't denial.

Cheers

Dearest Brothers & Sisters,
I have been reading up this thread from page0; I'm somewhere around page 150 but i kindly need your help with responses to these specific enquiries.

I worked in a bank from 2007 till my disengagement due bankwide staff rationalization of 2016. I rose through the hierarchy up to a Service Manager position. Considering that I'm no more in the employment of this organization can I still claim the 10years I worked with them as years of experience for the EE evaluation? Will the bank provide me a reference letter covering these years of experience with the bank?

After my exit from the bank, I registered a company with Farming business as one of the registered services of the company. We basically operated a poultry farm though I also own and manage some hectares of land for crop farming. Can I also claim these years of experience under the job type skilled trade (supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production NOC codes that start in 82)?
If yes this will imply I will be writing a reference letter on behalf of myself. Will that be tenable?

Please advice.
Many thanks!

Firstly U can claim points with the bank job as long as it job function falls under the NOC 0,A and B and U also did the job within the last 10years, and also if the bank is willing to give U reference letter.
3 years work experience in the last 10years(between 2008-2018) is all U need to claim maximum points for work experience.
If U want to go the self employed route, U might not be able to claim up to 3 years since U started the company after 2016.
I advise U stimulate Ur CRS with the no of years U have been self employed and see if Ur point is still high.
If not, I advise U use Ur bank experience, it will be straightforward.

Please guys , pardon my ignorance, after creating an express entry profile, is it possible to edit information like IELTS score, for example, if I decide to take another IELTS exam with a better score.
Thanks

Depending on the number of people on the day. Did mine yesterday and it took about 1 hour in all. Make two copies of your passport data page and you're good. This is assuming you're in Lagos though.

Thanks.

One more enquiry pls.

I have accessed the 25% of my RSA which is usually the case after exiting a job without a new one four months after. However I still have well over N4Million balance in my RSA (the statutory savings/deductions while on the job not voluntary savings). Can this in any way contribute to my POF?

Many thanks.

Good day house.
I would like to know if it is true that all intending MPNP applicants MUST have a tie (close relative, friend or education) in Manitoba before their application could be considered.

Thanks

I would be happy because it shows progress and I’ve seen cases where PPR came shortly after ADRs like this one.
What was your AOR please? And was your POF well above the required amount for your class?

The years you need to get maximum points for employment is 3 years.

To keep your application simple, just claim the work experience in the bank and let the bank write reference letter for you.

In your personal history, then state you're now a business owner. You can also write LOE to that effect.

I have 9 years experience and my job role falls under category A,my wife has 4 years experience too as an IT personnel and she falls under category A,we both have bsc,and she is a year younger ,Does 9 year of experience gain more points than 4 years, we are yet to decide who will be the principal.Seniors kindly put me through .Ielts booked already for both of us and ECa ongoing .should we pick experience over age even if we perform well in IELTS?
