Yes sir, the bank was gone before the intervention but it's the same CBN that appointed the new management that failed to prevent the bank from drowning as well now.
Invariably, CBN failed as well but surprisingly, they were 'praising' the mgmt; well except maybe they knew what the populace did not know yet...... but if they know, why dont they make their findings public?
Why wasnt the management able to turn things around with the huge fund they were giving to work with and given the timeframe with which they were to deliver on this? Does it mean CBN doesnt set up a monitoring committee to monitor how the funds were being utilized?
I just wish cbn and all that were involved could be dragged to court on this. undecided

Have you not heard of "damaged beyond repair"? The new management tried but the rot and sink hole cannot be repaired. And they gave in.

Growing up in Lagos, used to think the dry season temperatures could be unbearable ( Ye likeneth this to when ye make a 30% loss on ye portfolio).
First time I travelled to UK, was told it's summer, so I dressed casually. I started shaking immediately I stepped out of the airport, and they were still telling me it's not cold (likeneth this to when ye stock just dey flat for years, with no buyers in sight. So what excites them about this mo'foking stock?). My guy now ask me make I come back for December. I go jusss dieee. I likeneth this to how I'd be feeling if I owned Land (Skye) bank shares now.

This one should have even come before Skye.
Well, no legal time frame between last breath and burial.
Skye was given a pseudo-muslim burial, Diamond worshiped at African shrine, so let it keep staying in the mortuary.

This was not an entity moving on land, but taken to 33K feet and dropped. It thought it was flying while the launching vehicle proceeded.
Even its black box shattered!

He he, Polaris Bank.

It was the same bridge bank model that gave birth to Keystone (BankPHB), Mainstreet (afribank) and Enterprise (springbank) on August 5th 2011.

All the shareholders of the defunct Skyebank should that their stars that it is a Plc else the liquidators would encroach on your personal properties to recover the 786bn AMCON is injecting in.

How can you be a shareholder when your liabilities and equity can't fund your assets.

To think that the stock gained the most traction in the recent past calls for concern. What was the buyers thinking? Could it be a case of misinterpreted information?

You're safer now than before.

These regulators are funny, so Skye has a deficit of 786bn in its Shf, what is their balance sheet size?

You people should help us drag FBNH to our region, me and my household are waiting at 5.

At least if I buy there and it gets to 3 I'll be losing only 40%. I can sleep with my eyes closed with that.

Lol you want to withdraw your funds? There’s no need for that.. if the money is already in your CSCS account.. even if the money is in their Skye bank account no need to panic.. your money is intact just under another bank.. Morgan can still operate that account just that it’s no longer under Skye.
What’s going on will affect shear holders not customers.
Customers might only face some delay cause there’ll be panics and people will want to withdraw their money..

Anyway make we call them on Monday

OneGentleguy come and put mouth for this Skye bank matter o. This is not your prophecy o. Are you one of them?

My dear u can hear what u wish to hear and believe what u wish to believe.
With SKYE BANK, it was purely an INFORMATIVE play as at the TIME !!
I got some 1st hand INFO, swiftly KEYED IN and also told some folks to do the same when the coy was selling for between 0.53 to 0.55k. Together, we all joined in the ride up to near that 52 weeks high of N1.61... making an almost 200% ROI !!
Though my source of Info was a strong reliable one, I knew the coy wasn't FUNDAMENTALLY SOUND. ...and so my objective was of the need to sell before the target price I was told it could get to.
...and because I recall I carried a lot of folks along (many sent me mails and I advised them to buy), I REPEATEDLY ANNOUNCED WHEN I SOLD OFF ABOUT 90% of my holding the day before it hit its 52 weeks high. ...I even put out a screen shot of some of my sale here, even though I was under no obligation to do so.
I also ALERTED EVERYONE that had been guided to SELL. Many did at near the 52 weeks high, while some sold thereafter. (I wouldn't want to mention names but those who were involved know themselves)
Not trying to prove anything but I recall that someone here who benefited immensely from the SKYE play then, offered to give me N100,000 as a show of gratitude after he personally told me he made nearly N1.3M ROI, but I mildly turned it down. ...I've never accepted any financial gift from anyone !!
In the end everyone I carried along was HAPPY and whatever might have happened thereafter is history.

Btw, I know why u called me out, but am not so sure if u know that its NOT everyone that toil with their INTEGRITY.
If u ever think/believe that Onegentleguys posts are with an attached motive to deceive, then u can believe anything !!
Ordinarily, I would not have replied to this post (given the motive) but I just wanted to REFRESH ur memory.

Regards.

Oya go join Mercy them for class.

Statement of account or ledger statement is your cash account with your stockbroker.

Your CSCS Statement lists your holdings.

Just shenanigans, use what you're comfortable with.

My brother, long term investment in Nigeria has been death long time ago. Choose your stock broker wisely. Some will close down without notice. The tide is turning on them soon. All the best my brother and to all NSEMPA family. It is about to get crazy but we shall overcome.

We all need a Wanaj0, a Chibuking, an Agba, a Peterichy, a loco and a Mendes in our lives. You never really know when you run out of common sense until you read their comments a second time.

OGG no offense, it was clearly stated that skye was a death trap. Those chasing Japaul and Oando, your time is coming.

#CAVERTON to the SKYE.
