Good morning all

I just discovered this thread and I wish I knew about it way before now as things would have been a lot faster and tidier. Well, better late than never.

You guys are doing a fantastic job. May God bless and reward you all with your heart most desires speedily.

My question is regarding pay slips. I have an outstanding loan on my mine with a balance of almost 3m, if I submit those pay slips will it raise any form of issues regarding my application?

Thanks for anticipated responses.

Is the deficit visible on your payslips? Is it also visible on your bank account?

My brother, who got his PPR recently, had a deficit of about 2m which wasn't visible on his accounts or payslips.

Hi All,
So I have a girlfriend taking her ielts test next week.

Thing is she is still undecided on her job experience.

She has not worked a day in her life, so to speak.

More of volunteer work.

She has managed her father's bakery and her father's pure water venture.

She has also managed her mother's school for a while.

She has a BSc in Business Admin and MBA too.

How should she sell her Skills to Canada immigration?

My question really is WHAT KIND OF SKILLS SHOULD SHE PUT FORWARD?

Thank you.
As @Estac said, she can claim managerial skills. There are a couple such NOCs.

Submitting your pay slip could cause issues for you. I will advise you try to avoid submitting payslips with your application unless specifically asked via ADR. People have submitted only reference letter and got ppr. If you feel you have to, you can include your salary account statement but not the payslip.

Good Morning All, I have two questions, Can the spouse of a PA not claim point with his degree due to ECA delay and claim point from work experience? (They still meet the crs threshold doing this). Would it raise a case of misrepresentation ? Thank you.

I feel I am the only whom they are yet to attend to. AOR April 08, 2018, IP1 April 17, 2018. CIO Sydney has been with my file since then.

I need to renew my rent. I am so frustrated and I feel like withdrawing my application. I am just so confused and frustrated. I do not know why mine went this way.

Hang in there
Have you ordered your notes-even though there appears to be a backlog at the moment
Are you on that immigration tracker thingy? Join April AOR and observe what's up with Sydney office. Try to be calm
That site helped calm me too

Hope I got your question.
To record degree without claiming points, you input your degree in your EE profile, but answer no to the question, "have you gotten an ECA?"
Spouse of PA can only claim points from work experience if it is Canadian work experience, but the work experience whether Canadian or foreign must be recorded.

She wants to put something more than NYSC.

But how does NYSC work?

She served 6 years ago...

My opinion though, if she has managed her father's bakery and Mother's school, why don't you package those?
Her relationship with her employer is inconsequential. Search for the right NOC for her managerial positions, get the bakery and school to provide letters of employment and ID if possible.
If she had worked in a bakery that wasn't owned by her parents would you discount it as non-experience?

Please, anyone who wrote with MOD on 8th of September and has been able to view his result?

Got a mail from Mod on Thursday stating they will be a delay in obtaining results due to processing issue. Is this normal?

My thoughts exactly/

But she wasn't being paid.

You know how family can view a child as helping the family after all, she lives under their roof.

So how does she overcome the hurdle when her Statement of Account is requested showing proof of Salary?

Thanks homguy cochtrane estac

Hello house...pls help with this scenario, I'm asking for a friend.

She started work in a university in Nigeria in 2014 and took study leave to pursue a PhD in UK in 2015. So thats one year full time experience before the PhD which is her primary NOC. However, her employment is still running and she still gets paid as she's expected to come back after the PhD. I understand that she can't claim points for work experience gained while studying. Soooo...

1. For work experience, should she fill 2014 -2018 and state this lecturer job as her current work experience? Would CIC calculate and figure out the 1year themselves since she's equally filling her PhD under education?

2. Or should she fill 2014-2015...nothing as current work experience. Then fill the period from 2015-2018 post ITA in personal history? If this is the case, will work reference state start date as 2014 without end date?

Pls help, to avoid misrepresentation issues. Thanks

Her best bet is to use the one year NYSC, it's straightforward.
She can still use these past six years but it will require LOEs, affidavits, all kinds of bank statements and would probably earn her an interview in Accra.
IMHO, just use NYSC to claim points and capture the family businesses in personal history

I’m not using my salary account (So No) but as regards my pay slips it’s there gidigba, both opening and closing balance.

Thanks for this.

However, is this possible even if I’m not using my salary account for POF? Money never ever remains in that account.

If the House advice that i can go ahead with this, what am I suppose to fill in this case, should I fill NO for husband ECA report then when its ready i go to edit and then i fill the ECA Number

Isn't your employer giving you reference letter in the required format? If they are, that's all you need to prove work experience, pay slips is just an additional doc,not a compulsory one.
I'm in same situation as you and I'm not using my pay slips.

It doesn't matter that you are not using the account for POF. You can submit it just to show that there are monthly credits from the company giving you the reference letter. That should suffice in lieu of pay slips

She should fill her work experience as 2014 to 2015.
And PhD from 2015 to 2018. She should be truthful and honest in her application, remember she would still submit her passports and they would see she’s been in uk.
Sh can do an LOE to state she was on study leave with pay.
