Victor Osimhen Is Back: Scores 1st Professional Goal For Charleroi

Nigerian Striker Victor Osimhen today scored in Sporting Charleroi’s 1-1 draw away Waasland-Beveren in the Belgian Jupiler League at Beverens Freethielstadion

The former U17 golden boot winner scored his sides only goal in the 20th minute of the testy encounter that saw Charleroi finish with just 9 men . . . http://www.soccerassembly.com/victor-osimhen-back-scores-1st-professional-goal-charleroi/

Good to see he has cut that rubbish hair style. He looks more professional and handsome now, he has also added some flesh. Chukwueze should follow suit and get rid of that dirty Bush he has on his head that wanna make me puke

I know the index is not limited to last edition. I am just making the point from a most recent performance point of view but I get you. In all, we both know Ghana will always be more feared and respected at U-17 level compared to Senegal, Guinea or Mali. Also, their present side had very good talents including their number 8 who was guilty of missing three pens at the Wafu B zone qualifiers. The lad is talented but his penalty taking is horrible. He's still a kid shaa...

And ofcos Dad, Senegal will be contenders. And I expect them to qualify for the WC naa. Africa will present Four teams. All Senegal gotta do is make it out of the group and into the semis. As a West African team, I expect them to pull through. But that trophy will likely be won by the Manu Boys or the boys from Morocco. I consider Senegal my third choice based on what I saw from the qualifiers.

Teams like Angola, Cameroon, etc are expected to make some improvements between now and May 2019 shaa.. so as usual, time will tell. wink

Hun., Morocco. I will even rate Cameroon higher than them not to talk of Senegal.

As a Nigerian I will rate Nigeria first and then Senegal next. Let the remaining 6 teams fight for the remaining 2 spots

How them go notice am for field if him no do him head like that? grin

Way back in the 1990s when the dying of hair by African players first came out, it was more for purpose of attracting scouts. Especially young West African players.

I recall the Burkinabe U17 Team to the 2001 U17 WC hosted in Trinidad and Tobago where half of their players died their hairs with different shades of Brown and Red. They finished 3rd anyways.

I'm kinda scared for AJ.

Povetkin will be his toughest opponent to date.

Hope AJ pulls through anyways

He was preety ruthless when he started, the likes of esiti and ideye who did not measure up were dropped. Along the line don't know what happened. Players who had fire suddenly became jaded at the World cup. Still can't understand.

Esiti did very well against Zambia, Rohr just doesn't fancy him, same with Agbo.

Abeg forget this two. When Mikel Agu sef no see shirt. John Ogu and Joel Obi have remained as fringe players. Esiti and Agbo cannot even offer more than what the fringe players in the team can offer. We will only go for players that will add value jare.

In that same midfield that has Mikel, Etebo, Ndidi and Onazi as the more regular players.

I just hope CAF will not plot another coup by putting Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroon and Senegal in one group so that East and South Africa will have a better chance.

I think if Ebere Eze can be called up then I will gladly say Rohr oya allow K.Nwakali to play more amd keep progressing on his own part coz Eze can slot into that CAM role too.
Another option is Ovie Ejaria. These three are my first choices for that role in the long run based on star potentials and performances right now. But I will definitely pick E.Eze over K.Nwakali at the moment. K.Nwakali is a class player but I just feel Eze edges more at this point.

And sebi I have mentioned before that Tomori is another prospect. Anyway, no much shouting needed. That lad just keep bagging game time in the 90s and have shown tremendous improvements over time and this season he has been among Lampard's first names of the team sheet at Derby County. The lad is progressing really nicely.

And sadly Oga Chris, I too fear for Stoke. They don't look like a team that can put together a consistent run of wins to enable them finish in the EPL playoff places. I just hope Etebo does enough by the time the season is over to attract an EPL side for the 2019/2020 season. I know it is still early to say but I don't see Stoke making it up unless they can climb their way up just in time to end up in the playoff places by season's end.

ChrisKels:
Eze was his impressive self once again today for QPR even though he was played out of position. Etebo balled real good though they lost at home. Moses Odubajo made Brentford's bench for the first time. Ajayi was OK for his team as a Centre back though they lost away. My best in the championship today goes to Tomori, he was excellent and helped Derby get the three points.

One hard truth I must tell u guys here, is that Stoke is in the championship to stay. Not convincing at all. Always getting whipped by the worst teams in the league.

Yes. I genuinely think he is. I like both K.Nwakali and Eze but left to me I will pick Eze first right now before K.Nwakali. We need to sort out the CAM role in the absence of Mikel...I have no doubt K.Nwakali will eventually come good as this new generation matures but right now let Eze lead the way with K.Nwakali and Ejaria coming behind... We have options going forward... And I expect a few more AM options to pop up in a few years again...

Ebere Eze is simply another class act I wanna see in the Eagles... RIGHT NOW! Beautiful talent. cool
