Osun Election: Suspected PDP Agent Arrested With N116,000 For Vote Buying by IamHeWrites: 1:23am On Sep 23, 2018
Wasiu Adeagbo, identified as a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been arrested by the Police for allegedly buying votes.

He was arrested at Ward 8, Unit 9, Fiwasaye Area of Osogbo, the Osun State capital. The sum of N116,000 was found on him.

The arrest was revealed via a tweet by the Police, which reads;
“Arrest of one Mr Adeagbo Wasiu, a suspected PDP chieftain at Ward 8 Unit 9 Fiwasaye Area of Osogbo. He was apprehended in the act f vote buying and the sum of One Hundred and Sixteen Thousand (116,000) was recovered from him, Investigation is ongoing."

Can someone please define "chieftain" again, because it's like the word has got a new meaning.

On another hand, is it proper for the police to indicate his party? Is it ethical? Have they also indicated the parties of arrested APC agents ( sorry, chieftains)?

Why is everything getting destroyed in this govt?

All parties do the same thing. The ones who are very open get caught. Most of them use one small corner carefully. Hopefully voters will understand that politicians are there to impoverish them more. Meanwhile it appears PDP is leading so far in Osun states from the results so far announced so far by INEC.

Government has so reduce the living standard of her citizens that people can even knowingly sell themselves for half plate of food.

I did not even have pvc due to this reason, until we goes digital where our finger print count as vote and not someone set of people throwing 10 votes against my single vote, no election for me yet, I cannot come and disturb myself over riggiing set of politicians

Why are hunting PDP agents alone.
APC agents do the same.

I'm not supporting vote buying o, but when we see one party is being arrested and the other party is not arrested , this will always call for concern

How are we sure he is a PDP chieftain as indicated, the tag may have been forcefully put on him. I don't trust APC police one bit.
