A void is a void bro, as the name implies, inconsequential. But wherever elections are cancelled, there will be a re-election and no winner will be announced if total eligible voters in the cancelled area is more than current winning margin, till election is conducted.

In this case, it's not so. Even with the reported reduction of PDP votes in an LGA, and the excess addition of APC votes in another LGA as reported also, PDP still has an edge with total votes collated.

Re-run likely only when there's a unit or ward that didn't vote, and the number of registered voters there is more than the margin of victory.

America voted and result came in and was announced in less than 14 hours....that's for presidential election comprising of 50 states

The osogbo returning officer said in ward 5, the pulling unit inec official abssonded with the voting results. 800 registered voters. Infact 2 were cancelled in osogbo.
One other returning officer in one local govt said they cancelled 1. Verification machine malfuctioned so they used manual. And the man said he cancelled it because manual is not allowed. Can u imagine.

Cancelled votes, like voided votes (only in Nigeria do we differentiate), don't count I believe.Only the courts can rule on them.
What I'm looking at is where election didn't hold at all.Otherwise,the result stands
