AIG07: I also disagree because working with Guardiola is a tactical and Physical masterclass development which definitely rubbed off on Nacho that will help him in his career. The discipline in training. The working hard to keep the body in good condition and maintaining sharp tactical discipline and understanding was vital to the young man. Leaving for glory was not the best option. I hope that year under Guardiola's tutelage remains a big part of Nacho's development. |

TheGoodJoe: For starters he has a great first touch now unlike city and he also becoming more and more creative something which was stifled at city. Puel changed Leicester from a kick and rush team he deserves a lot of credit. |

Liverpool loanee Sheyi Ojo made his full debut for Reims as they were held to a goalless draw by Dijon on game week six in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday evening. The England U21 star, who joined Reims on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window, earlier appeared off the bench in matches against Montpellier and Nantes before making the starting lineup at Stade Auguste-Delaune II. Ojo used his pace and skill to skin the Dijon defenders several times in the first half but the Reims strikers could not finish. In the 58th minute, Algeria defensive midfielder Mehdi Abeid was yellow carded for fouling the Nigerian winger and he had to be replaced a minute later. Despite starring for Liverpool in pre-season, manager Jurgen Klopp sanctioned the temporary departure of Ojo as he was behind more experienced players such as Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri in the pecking order of wide players. He previously spent time on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham and Wigan Athletic. 1 Like |

Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho has sent a message to Leicester City boss, Claude Puel, that he wants to become Jamie Vardy's strike partner because they have struck up a perfect understanding. Against Huddersfield Town on Saturday, the number eight netted the equalizer, a well taken goal with his left foot set up by Jamie Vardy and then the Nigerian returned the favor and set Vardy up in the second half. Speaking to LCFC TV, Iheanacho stated : ''Yes. I think we had a good partnership. Me and Jamie are fast on the break with good midfielders in Maddison and Demarai Gray. ''I think it is a good thing for us to finish well today. I think we'll keep going like that and see how we go''. Rating his overall performance, Iheanacho said : ''I think the whole team did brilliantly. I think we worked hard. ''It was a sloppy goal in the first half but we kept our heads down and got the equalizer and the goals came. We're happy today.'' Iheanacho has been directly involved in 16 goals (10 goals, 6 assists) in 35 matches in all competitions since joining Leicester City in the summer of 2017. 1 Like |

junnyjake: Firstly, I did not say I followed Uche Agbo only during his U20 days. I said I HAVE BEEN following him since his U20 days. The Agbo I followed from Udinese to Granada to a brief spell at Watford and then back to Granada before another loan spell to Standard liege in my opinion probably never deserved those call ups he received in the first place. He is simply not SE material. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli:that is it o It is rarely ever about product or talent, it is about passport. Some people will tell you what about Drogba, Eto'o, Toure, Weah? Is that all Africa has produced? We're they as celebrated as their Brazilian and European counterparts who they were sometimes even better than? The first disadvantage anyone in this world can ever come with is being black, the second disadvantage is being African. These two things will hinder you more than anything else in life 1 Like |

safarigirl: Not a hype. His work rate is phenomenal but he is a poor finisher. He has the instincts but lack that killer touch. Concerning the stats, it falls to the system of play, just like the reliance of the team keeping possession at the back than the usual clearance or how many passes the goalkeeper makes than the amount of saves. Gabriel Jesus does a lot for the team which does a lot in helping us win back possession in fast time. I think the finishing will come with time. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:58pm On Sep 23, 2018 |
BascoVanVeli: It has to do with role than lack of ability. I tried pointing this out repeatedly. Playing as a top striker limits the chances of creative play. At City, Nacho had more responsibility to execute than create. Although we saw him pull some brief spells of those. |

So Mister Komekn: Kelechi Iheanacho scored one goal and one assist, plus the MOM performance again yesterday for this average Leicester City team. And my question to you and your EPL fan boys simple is: What should Kelechi Iheanacho do to deserve a regular starting spot on that very average team? Does he need to walk on water before he becomes a starter cc: Safarigirl O pari 5 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: At least u have admitted that there have been improvement but now u can't come and say he changed his position because that is not true. This is the same striker position that he has been playing, he paired with Bony and Aguero at City so this is nothing new. |
