Danielnino00: The stiff-neck has already anointed Kalu as the man to replace V.Moses. Not a bad option though. |

Joebie: The issue is not about better. Considering the players who have been invited then it's a matter of invitation and seeing what they can do in the SE, giving opportunity and a level playing field. All this old news. You can check my historical posts on the matter. In reality the NFF should be engaging with Nigerian origin players known and unknown to create relationship. It's not for them to be declaring intention in the media. 1 Like |

Joebie: Otigba and Dessers aint good enough. As for Deji, the only thing delaying his invite is his lack of games for the first team. Deji has never played professional football bfor so it will be stupid inviting him now to the super eagles. As for dessers, it is not as if he is setting the Eredivisie on fire. He even started today and was poor, got subbed off earlier than supposed 5 Likes 1 Share |

Clementoke: No mind people make dem dey peddle lies. Otigba is good and he is playing for one poor team in hungry while his mates are in Serie A(Ekong), laliga (Omeruo). Otigba that was a bench warmer in Turkey where Omeruo and Ekong excelled. Otigba was good and he was relegated to the bench soon after his break through at Heerenveen, he was good yet, no big team came for him from the Eredivisie or anywhere else in Europe. Dessers, a bench warmer for lowly Utretch is only being praised here because of his skin colour. As bad as Isaac Success is, Dessers aint his match. Can Dessers command a starting shirt in the Eredivisie, let alone the Laliga where Success held sway? Dessers is good, yet he hasn't been able to do what kayode did in Wien abi no be same jupiler league he ran away from that our guys have been tearing up over the years from Onyekuru , to Simon, to Kalu, Olayinka, even Bonaventure etc Make we no dey glorify mediocrity just because we believe that anything foreign is special. OLA Aina declared, Balogun declared, Vicmo declared, Ebuehi declared, ikeme et al declared and they got invited. My dear, if u are good, u will get a look in, then u if are better than what we have already, then God dun butter ur bread. KPOM!!! 4 Likes |

the one wey dey mad me na pple wey dey vex say deji is yet to be invited. a player that is yet to taste a minute of professional football. nawaooooo. have seen dessers play couple of times but he is not better than what we have currently in the team. if otigba is good he won't be playing in the hungarian league presently ChrisKels: |

ChrisKels: I don't know what's with Dessers, the boy is good no doubt, and please he's a better finisher than the wasteful Success. He Had an impressive goal ratio last season, as he scored in little minutes given to him last season, the coach simply doesn't trust the guy despite scoring 11 times last season. 1 Like |

junnyjake: Oh really? Never knew coaches bench their best players. Maybe that same coach is also asking other clubs not to notice his goal per minute ratios. Dessers is better than Success, only in ur dreams bro. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by junnyjake(m): 8:33pm On Sep 23, 2018 |
ChrisKels: Well, the amount of goals scored in the minutes given says everything. Dessers undoing was moving to a club that never needed him. A better finisher I said. |

Joebie: Well, he is a Liverpool player and he has played consistently in the Championship, even influencial to Fulham gaining promotion last season. Besides, we have limited options on the RW. He could be a good addition anyway. Let the best be picked after given each the opportunity to showcase themselves. 2 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: He was superb today. The more his teammates trust him the more goals he will get. His coach has faith in him and he is doing the business. I honestly I'm shocked by how quickly he has taken to Europe. Goes to show that the NPFL is not as poor as some want us to think, this boy was readied for professional football. |

his inclusion will add more competition to the team. he have been active in the championship for the past 3 seasons and currently in the french ligue 1 where he have played 3 matches so far. forgiveness: |

ChrisKels: At the time, Otigba declared for Nigeria. He was as good as the other options there. He was playing regularly in the Eredivise and rejected an invitation from Hungary. At that time, he deserved a chance. Our defenders were Oboabana, Egwueke, Omeruo and Yobo. Otigba would have been able to compete. Balogun did not declare publicly. He was called by Keshi. Moses was convinced by Siasia. Aina did not declare publicly. Sometimes when a player publicly declares the intention to play for Nigeria. They are ignored even when they are good enough to compete. 4 Likes |

tbaba1234: WE are using Otigba as an excuse. I think he was just not lucky. Also you have to respect the preference of the coach at helm of affairs then. Apart from Otigba, is there any other "good" FB player that was ignored SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DECLARED? 1 Like |

Clementoke: Otigba was the most blatant one. He certainly deserved a chance to prove himself. You can give valid reasons why some of the others were not considered. 4 Likes 1 Share |
