The World Cup, while the biggest competition in the world is just 7 rounds max over a period of one month. I don't think it's an accurate representation of what truly happens over the course of the season. Anybody can hit form and shine over a short period of time. It could have swung the debate in favor of Hazard if their performances over the season were close but on this case, KDB clearly trumped Hazard.
