No wonder youths were labeled " lazy Nigerians".

They don't read
They don't want to understand or know
They want instant money or wealth
They don't care.

With a state owing us 34 months salary, how are we surviving?
And yet some hoodlums are still talking about the PARTY, APC.

We do not need APC again.

We prefer PDP, the person coming in is okay. Even if he doesn't do well, PDP has a structure to correct the wrong ones
Apart from posting wrong information.

When did you become an osun indigene?

I could recall you always find it easy to insult Yorubas.before now

Do you want to hear the truth, I share that same ideology with you like you write up there. You spoke my mind but back to why I first quoted you. Who's more qualified in terms of certificates between Jonathan and Buhari? We both know it should be Jonathan but how come with all his education and certificates he messed the country up but Buhari that is not close to Jonathan based on certificate is better off. So if Adeleke will perform better because he had F9 he shouldn't be given a chance? Cos that's what you were saying

The Nigerians political experience has taught me that it's not by certificate but ideas and the care for the people. I don't know anything about Oyetola other than he's being supported by Aregbe but from what I hear people say, I think Adeleke has done well for the people as a senator. I want Adeleke to win. I am not from Osun but just a neutral observer.

I will be supporting buhari for second term though. He has disappointed me with his nepotism and not being able to deal decisively with some corrupt elements in his cabinet but I don't see any of the thieves in PDP as a better alternative.

South East especially Abia and IMO should key into this revolution. Ekiti and Osun election has made us to understand that SW are ready to cleanse their States off bad leadership no matter the Party, This has already sent a stern message to other SW state government that if you don't work, you will be voted out and this will force their government to be up and doing.

Abia must Liberate himself from PDP into APGA while IMO must Liberate himself from APC into APGA
We the Abian's will vote for someone that merits that position and not party. We will vote for High Chief Ikechi Emenike.

It seems people still don't understand the Nigeria electoral act. All these said people buying card all over the place, where do they intend to use it? Pls I stand to be corrected but the little I know is the fact that you can't bring and use other polling unit card at where it wasn't registered. Alekuwodo card can never work in atakumosa.. What they can do is to buy conscience of the electorate in the affected area.

This is a very objective conversation. Certificate doesn't decide your performance in our system down here. It has to do with personality. The Adeleke's family are well known for their generosity and good governance right from the days of Sherubawon. The number one primary assignment of any administrator after security of life and properties is WELFARE which Aregbesola toyed with. One thing is, Osun state is a civil service state and in no way did Aregbesola tried to industralize the state to increase their IGR. So what did he use all the funds for? Demolish 6 schools and build on giant one? He played God in that state and he will account for every single penny.

Let me even tell you the truth now as at yesterday. The first thing Adeleke will do when he comes in is to change the name of the state back to Osun state as against the Aregbesola's named ''state of Osun''. And when that is done, the debt of the state goes off the state head and lands on who picked up the loans which is him Aregbesola(although I'm still trying to run this through one SAN and a senior banker). They have so many plans for that looter and ungodly man that killed the economy of the state.

You are categorically wrong. I was in Osun as a monitor during the elections and I can tell you that APC has Osun. The only thing that helped PDP was their massive vote buying methodology deployed on the eve and on the day of elections.

The reason why PDP is Jittery now and begging Omisore to join them as well as running to court is because this is now a MICRO election which would mean that a lot of focus would be on a very small area in Osun which are the areas for rerun and this would entail that it would not be business as usual for PDP.

PDP will lose woefully at this rerun. They know they do not deserve 353 advantage because they bought it and proof of this is from one of areas where there was OVER VOTING. Why would there be over voting if PDP did not try to tamper with the process? Also in another area in Osogbo which is APCs stronghold, PDP thugs disrupted elections and carted away the ballot boxes.

PDP knows their account is now in red and they will lose. Enough said!!

How can you compare Jonathan and Buhari in terms of performance? Do you know what is happening in Venezuela? If Jonathan had been allowed to continue, Venezuela's case would have been a child's play. Oil price was above$100 dollar, yet he was borrowing to pay salaries, 25 states were not able to pay salaries until buhari bailed them out. You better thank God for buhari.

Those blaming buhari for economic recession are just ignorant as Nigeria was already in recession before Jonathan left and dollar has started increasing. He left dollar at 190.
When Jonathan left,Nigeria had the best economy in Africa,Buhari caused recession like he did in 1983. Did Jonathan also tell Bihari to take 6months to appoint ministers

I knew the real gist right from yesterday. In the course of Diekolas vote buying, he had a confrontation with a guy in his camp over monies given to him by Adeleke for this purpose especially when Adeleke gave him money on the 22nd and he disappeared with the money and this led to Diekola slapping him and all hell broke loose. It was an innocently passing NSCDC security team that noticed all that was going on and intervened, arrested and searched him and PVCs were found on him.

He allegedly had been buying votes right from the night before yesterday morning.

APC was not involved in any way. Even as at last night PDP also began buying votes in Orolu. This is confirmed.
You think we should believe you when APC pays you for propaganda?

•He was attacked, says Adeleke

There was tension in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, yesterday as members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) clashed over an alleged plot by the PDP to buy up Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of Thursday’s governorship election rerun in four council areas.

The police are holding a PDP stalwart, Fatai Oyedele, popularly known as Diekola. He was said to have led some leaders of his party to Ward 5, Unit 17 in Alekuwodo to buy up cards, but the PDP said he was canvassing for votes.

Agents and leaders of the APC and the PDP were in the area to woo would-be voters, an eyewitness said, adding that there was a misunderstanding that led to a clash.

The incident could not be confirmed from the Police as the cell phone of the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Command, Folashade Odoro, was switched off.

But APC Spokesman Kunle Oyatomi denied that the party’s supporters were involved in any clash. Oyedele was caught in possession of 62 PVCs, he claimed.

Oyatomi said: “There was nothing like thugs attacking anybody. That is absolute nonsense. We don’t have thugs. He was caught with PVCs and the Civil Defence officials arrested him.”

The Director, Media and Publicity, Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Mr. Olawale Rasheed, said that not only was Oyedele attacked by the “APC thugs, also scores of supporters of the PDP in the areas where the rerun election will be held on Thursday were attacked”.

Rasheed called on security agents to forestall further attempts to attack the PDP leaders and supporters to stop the party from winning Thursday’s rerun.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared Saturday’s governorship election inconclusive due to irregularities.

The commission announced Thursday for the rerun

The PDP and the APC are the top contenders in the election.

The APC candidate Gboyega Oyetola has said the arrest of the PDP chieftain has confirmed the general opinion that PDP was out to subvert the will of the people.

The Oyetola Campaign Organisation, in a statement in Osogbo, alleged that the PDP chieftain and two other officials led thugs to the controversial polling unit in Ward 5 Osogbo, an action that led to the cancellation of the election in the ward. The result, it said, was rejected due to the difference between the result and the card reader’s record.

The statement reads: “We are vindicated today that the security agents finally nabbed one of the PDP vote buying and selling dealers, who has been the Harrowhead of procurement and commodification of Permanent Voters Card (PVC). We had expressed concern to the security agents about the violent posture of the PDP and the way they were monetising votes before and during the last Saturday election.

“Despite the commitment of President Muhammad Buhari and Governor Rauf Aregbesola to ensuring that the election is peaceful and devoid of any violence, the same set of people arrested have been attacking APC members in Osogbo, the state capital and openly distributing money even on the eve of election.”

The organisation claimed that on Saturday night, the PDP chiefs invaded a coalition centre in Ward 5 Osogbo and forced the APC and other party agents to sign a doctored result that was later rejected at the local government coalition centre. “This singular action substantially contributed to the inclusiveness of the election that will cost the INEC, Security agents and political party a lot of resources,” it said.

“To us, APC government as acknowledged by the local and international observers has provided a level playing ground for the free, fear and transparent election in Osun and peoples must not allow to subvert the popular will of the people.”

“ As a candidate in this election, we wish to state clearly that the arrest of Diekola is one out of PDP hundreds agents and dealers purchasing voters card in all the affected units in Ife South, Ife North, Orolu and Osogbo local governments.”

“While we commend the police for the arrest, we urg them and other security agents to be on alert to prevent individuals who are hell bent on subverting the will of the people, and demand that the police must investigate Diekola thoroughly and prosecute any individual connected to the criminality, no matter how highly placed in the society.”

“This election is about the future of the state and no matter any interest , the popular wish of the majority must be protected; the choice of the people must emerge, that is the very essence of democracy.”

PDP spokesman Diran Odeyemi denied that Diekola collected voter cards. He said the PDP chief had gone to the area to seek votes for the party’s candidate when thugs descended on him.

“Let the police show proof that he was arrested with the cards”, he said, adding that the action was to intimidate PDP supporters

Unfortunately, Jonathan still fell into the captivity of the same Cabal and here we are today.
You can not also compare Buhari with Adeleke, Buhari is not an illiterate, how can a graduate of the prestigious American war college be an illiterate?.
If Omisore or the runner up to Adeleke had been selected as PDP candidate, PDP would have won this election fair and square since Saturday.
The REASON for the cliffhanger on Saturday is the QUALITY of the PDP candidate and other SELFISH interests.

They don't buy it and give it to another. They buy it and keep the card in order to ensure no othe party buys it. On the day of election, the owners come and collect it and are monitored as they vote.

They are told that after they vote PDP they would be given extra cash as appreciation. That's how it was being done.

This was how the 62 PVCs were found with Diekola. He bought the cards and kept them for the day of election so the owners can come and collect them and vote under supervision.

Jonathan achieved this window dressing by constantly taking from our foreign reserves to block the obvious and that was a very wrong economic move and Okonjo warned him about it but he chose not to listen.

If the economy was the best why then was GEJ borrowing just to pay salaries? Why were 30 states bankrupted and unable to pay salaries under him?

The BEST economy as you put it should not be borrowing to pay salaries which is not an investment but a liability. You don't service liabilities in a good economy, you service investments.
