These people are no investors, they are engaged in retail trading which is the preserve of Ghanaians . Don’t get confused.

You morons keep saying , when you pull out Ghana would collapse , it’s the profit you are making out of Ghana that would collapse.

Anyway, they want you to get out.

Anytime its about Nigeria, you see Ghanaians develop virtual muscles grin grin grin. Don't be a racist! The retail sector which you're trying to protect is actually not protected. Stop calking your fellow Africans morons. We have Ghanaians in Europe, USA, CHina e.t.c doing business and nobody is hunting them down.

The 7 banks which collapsed in Ghana was due to the mismanagement by Ghanaians who are expected to protect the public sector. How many foreign banks collapsed? None! The earlier we realise that as Africans we need each other the better for us all.

The total amount of money Nigerians are contributing to the Ghanaian economy can't be messed with. Stop listening to gutter news outlet. The elites know what it means to have Nigerians in that country. The poor guys are the ones ranting, the elites are striking deals everyday. Don't sound like an unintelligent folk grin grin grin

What about the total amount of money Nigerians are making in Ghana ??

Why then are they rushing to Ghana to engage in trades they are not supposed to do?

I agree , we need each other, but not 6 million Nigerians in a small country like Ghana.

We all know how Nigerians are, they would easily fck up your country if you allow them.

Meanwhile the trade between Ghana and Nigeria is nothing to write home about.

Stop this kind of talk... Are you trying to tell me that your fellow African who's trying to make like 1000 GHC should be allowed to suffer?

This is the wickedness that has been sowed in our hearts by the West. The big malls which sell imported produce are busy carting billions out of the Ghanaian economy everyday. 80% of the products in those malls are imported and the government is not making sure that locals are allowed to supply the malls with local farm produce..

What the average Nigerian is making in the retail sector is highly insignificant. They need that little money to survive in the hard economy.

Have you wondered how Africans go to other western countries for education purposes but the government makes sure they're able to work for some hours an make little money? The Ghanaian government doesn't make such provisions readily available for other African brothers.

We need to change our mindset as Africans.

They don't want foreigners doing retail. It applies to all nationals. Import to Ghana but leave small scale business for Ghanaians, how hard can that be? Serious Governments implement such laws . It's in place in Kenya, Rwanda etc. No retail business for foreigners, deal with it!!

Keep your lawlessness to your country. Your leaders have refused to look out for their citizens, don't blame Ghana for that.. The other day a boy was asking/planning to go to Accra to do mai chai by the roadside. Ridiculous. I must travel by force to go pollute countries trying to better themselves. Please I applaud Ghanaian govt . If you have no money for wholesale and bulk importing, come back home let's vote in the right people and make Nigeria great.

I agree. It should be Ghana first. Supply the Ghanaian retailers if you want to do business in Ghana.

Incidents like this requires an urgent retaliation by Nigerian government. But considering the fact that those mostly affected are from a certain part of the country and also by considering that we have a sectional president, nothing will be done to address this issue by Nigerian government. That is the sad reality

Yes! cut gas supply, Ghana has been owing Nigeria for gas Nigeria supplied. running into billions, Nigeria will use that as a reason to cut off the supply until payment is made.

Nigeria will also take Ghana to court to force them to pay their debts.

Yes, impose high taxes and tariff, Ghana needs Nigeria far more than Nigeria needs Ghana. They need are market due to our large population.

Nigeria should also prohibit Nigerians from going to study in Ghana, cut that forex going to Ghana.

More like Ghana shuts down Igbo businesses, knowing fully well that the Nigerian Government will not respond. These are some of the reasons why they will keep on agitating for a sovereign nation if not for any reason ,but for protectionism(retaliation),sadly enough the Nigerian Government has not addressed this dimension of the agitation.

Haba, the way you people bring tribe to stuffs like this surprise me
So you are saying Nigeria will not respond because according to you most of the business men are Igbo.

Ghana is protecting her citizens simple, it's Nigeria that doesn't care.

Ghanaians are full of jealousy and hatred against innocent Nigerians that doing their legitimate businesses, Nigerian govt and ECOWAS needs to act fast to caution Ghanaian govt on economic aggression because it may later turn physical attacks against Nigerian residents in Ghana.
Is it by force to do business in Ghana? The Ghanaian government came with a policy to protect its citizens as a responsible Government whats wrong with that. Leave Ghana or abide by whatever the Government considers good for its citizens or try to become a citizen to be protected. What kind of situation is this, a government is doing its job and foreigners trying to resist. Didnt the Nigerian Government sent Ghanaians packing years back? This is the situation in South Africa they keep telling you leave and yet you remain despite the killings. Why dont we have self pride and come back home no matter what and use the energy and efforts here. This is mostly southerner Nigerians, come back home and have self pride instead of abroad abroad ,yankee, yankee if the situation is not good.
