neyobills: There is a different laws that Applies to Exams and election.... In 2007 I hope you know that only the Presidential Election was taken to Supreme Court, While others stops at the Appeal Court... And the same Appeal Court sent Silva of Bayelsa and Oni of Ekiti out of office... Most people don’t even know there is an amendment to the electoral act in 2010 and that was the reason why almost all the Governors were saved by the superme Court |

Which of the court now because normal court cannot try election matters and now that the election is inconclusive, the court of tribunal cannot do anything until the election is completed and a winner declared quote author=bishopkay post=71493664] I am currently watching channels TV politics today and the truth is if INEC is served a paper as defendants from the court and restraining them, INEC would obey. At least so says the law theoretically [/quote] |

Wheezdwisdom Your assertion is correct Bro but lets believe they know better. I also believe they'd keep that option open as a plan B For me going to the polls is the wise thing to do but with an umpire who's shown bias in previous matters as this and even went ahead to deduct and add votes, it's a dicey one |

The lawyer that advised PDP to head to court is only trying to make money from PDP. There's no case there. it's only INEC that can decide when election is concluded or not. if INEC tell you they have not concluded, going to court is only a waste of time and money as the court has no power to conclude an election for inec. When inec has concluded, they you can go to court to redress anomalies in the process of the said election. The guyman lawyer just want to make some free money out of the poor desperate party. it's their way. in fact it's the way the world works. Con who you can and collect his money and look for the next person. |

PDP's unnecessary hysteria is incomparable, going to court over what? and some Nigerians are supporting them. When in 2015 governorship election between Abubakar Audu (APC) and Idris Wada (PDP) was declared inconclusive, PDP rejoiced , same thing that happened in Imo state in 2015. Now, it has happened in Osun state, this time not in their favour and as such, running from pillar to post shouting foul play. APC will win Osun state and there will be nothing PDP will do about it |

seanfer: Have you asked yourself why elections in Anambra, Edo, Ekiti, Osun is held at different time from general elections? It is because certain governors went to Court and got victory! So lacuna at this point does not matter! What matters is victory in Court at last!! |

KingRagnar: If Mr A slap you (Mr B) and you didn't sue him to Court; If same Mr A slap Mr C and Mr C takes Mr A to Court for assault and get a judgment of N1,000,000! You (Mr B) have yourself to blame for being indolent! "Equity does not aid the indolent!" |

goaldynman: This Scenarios are different from what is happening in Osun today.... Those State you mentioned didn't go to court to stop a Run-off Election, Rather they approached the Tribunal and they pursue their cases to the Highest court and they were sworn in thereby spending complete 4 years..... Now tell me in what capacity is PDP and Adeleke going to challenge the Verdict of the Supreme Court about giving Inec the right to declare Election Inconclusive backed by the Electoral Act?.... No lower court Judgement can stand against the Supreme Court's Judgement...... We should all know that the LAW has NOTHING to do with EMOTIONS.. LAW deals with PRESENTABLE FACT |
