You mean that foreign investors that has withdrawn over ₦400 Billion from the market will rush back now because oil is trading above 80 dollars per barrel? We need to first understand what really chased them away and then prepare for their return. Other than 10% - 20%cycles, I don't expect much from the market for now. I may be wrong though.

It's OhOk!

Hello sir, from my little research, recession comes back every 7 years. We just stepped out of one and it will take a while before it happens again. If you could remember vividly in the year 2008 or 2009 thereof our country suffered economic meltdown and in 2017 recession

wema fairprice not attractive at my side with the current 38.5B share outstanding. though they have positive retain earnings compare to their huge negative retain earnings this time last year

grin

That's because of accounting abracadabra. They created a capital reduction account and set their negative retained earnings against it.

Main quage for this will be what will happen to crude oil price. I doubt we will go into another recession if crude price remains relatively stable but if otherwise should happen, 7 years or not, we will quickly find ourselves in recession again.

If crude oil starts dropping now, straight on to USD.
