Hi. It took 5 weeks for mine to arrive Nigeria. I advise you send yours to an address (of someone you know) in the UK. It will take lesser time to receive it. They can then scan and send to you by email. Congrats in advance on your ITA. dbaba83: 1 Like |

Boom12: Recent ATS certificates have ABWA on it and WES doesnt give any Canadaian Equivalance for this however there is a way out. If you are in lagos, go to V.I and ask them to send a letter to WES stating that ICAN is the issuing body of the exam certificate. I ICAN is aware of this an has decided to send letters/emails to them upon such issues. https://www.nairaland.com/4657743/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/254#71113979 https://www.nairaland.com/4657743/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/252#71104349 Je m'appelle Ramj 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Just did my Biometrics in Abuja and it took me 15mins. Seems like I was the only one who came. The booking wasn't necessary because they didn't even ask for my appointment letter, he said they only ask when there is queue like Lagos. If you don't live in lag pls just do ur Biometrics in Abuja, me I came all d way from south south. 16 Likes |

S/he would still have to prove the relationship sha, along with submitting proof that the person is truly a citizen/PR (T4, utility bills, picture of PR card or passport). These things might be quite hard to get if s/he cannot currently contact the person. I think your option of writing an LOE after would work sha but I'm also hoping it doesn't count as misrepresentation too, being as s/he has already claimed the points and still doesn't have a way to prove the relationship or that the person is actually a citizen/PR. PS: I can't remember if extended family members actually give points though, I think it is just siblings. I added my aunt to my application and I'm not sure it gave me points (well to be fair, I actually didn't know how to check) Tojued: |

Yes, that's correct. An aunt or uncle cannot give "sibling" points. Points for siblings in Canada You can now earn 15 additional points if you (or your spouse or common-law partner who will come with you to Canada) have a brother or sister who is: - living in Canada and - a citizen or permanent resident of Canada To get these points, the brother or sister must also be - 18 years old or older - related by blood, marriage, common-law partnership or adoption - have a parent in common Fadia: |

Fadia: Also have similar issue and what i have read regarding this on canadavisa thread is to say NO - (write an LOE that i am not claiming points for them) Say "NO" for a relative and you don't have to supply any docs. This is not counted as misrepresentation. In the LOE explain that you are not claiming any points for your relative. In the end if the relative is sibling you will be mentioning there address and everything in your family form. - Copied Its just like work experience one is not claiming points for being put in personal history as against under work experience. It can still be linked to you The main issue is ensuring they still appear on your application one way or the other. Je m'appelle Ramj |

freshjayy:No. Job experience for the accompanying spouse does not add any points to your CRS score. So you might as well remove it and save madam the stress. |

ofime123: its even better you start your application and then add your wife in february after ur court wedding, cos adding her now will crash your CRS, which means she has to write IELTS and/or provide ECA. I wld say again, start first then include her later even if it is after u have gotten PPR as long as you inform IRCC immediately the court wedding is done. 11 Likes |

My cousin was in a similar situation. His wife was in the US on a course. In his case, he traveled to Accra to make a request for an extension and he was granted an additional 30 days. I believe an e-mail should handle this. You all will be fine. They get this sort of requests. Calm down dear and congratulations. VFUSION: |
