it's a mixture of cement and gravel.so it's not smooth to make it slippery

The down side of this technology is that it causes tyres to wear out easily than normal tarred road. A friend who went there to work with his car came back complaining of how the road has been wearing out is tyres under short period of time

I visited the state last week and I can say that the technology is cool, tho let's see how long it would last but the road looks cool only if the contractor doesn't cut corners.

Apart from the road, Engr Dave is the best gov in South east considering the level of fed allocation he gets and also the igr in the state.

He is a proven Engr,

If they get the process right,then the road will last a very very long time. There is one in Accra which has been there for almost 30years and it is still good and motorable

Building roads shouldn't be something one should celebrate, it's mediocrity in all sense, building roads is something normal not extraordinary but because we live in a country where mediocrity in government is the order of the day, all am saying is we have gone pass this nonsense

Relax the same technology is being replicated on Apapa wharf road which Dangote is currently constructing in Lagos. That is the real test that will answer your curiosity

No drainage? Even if the road is built with iron, if the drainage is not well done then work done = 0.

Dangote did a far better one in my Town, KABBA TO OBAJANA VIA LOKOJA ROAD.

I'm not curious about it. I'm only putting the fact straight that it has not been put to test. So to conclude its durability is like already concluding Sowore will win 2019 election. We need to be fact based. That's my point.

Any road less than 50km is not worth celebrating!

Any road less than 200meters width, with no corridors, no side works, no streetlights, no interchanges, no highway direction boards, no road markings, no drainge is not worth news!

OP, This is 21st century. Building a road is no innovation. The internet is a very broad network consisting of millions of users within and outside your narrow brain range. Please stop disgracing us!

Kindly read what you wrote there again. You don't have to try to sound smart.
For one, this is a country road. A road linking villages and a lot of times won't have drainage for the most part except select locations identified for flash floods.
Secondly, you only saw a section of the road and you are ranting about interchanges, direction boards, streetlights. Really? A road linking communities and you are talking about interchanges and streetlights?
Even though the op may have exaggerated a bit due to excitement, it still doesn't warrant the bile you spat up there.
