NSCDC, Army restore peace in Orolu, Voting commences


Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the Nigeria Army have restored peace at Orolu area and voting has commended there.

At Orolu ward 8 unit 1, Kajola primary school, voting accreditation and voting started immediately the soldiers and NSCDC men restored law and order in the area.

My man just sent this in from ife south. This is ward 7 unit 12 in ife south and voting is going on peacefully with observers on ground

As a son of a university don, its disappointing that you can say that someone can climb the military cadre even up to a General as an illiterate. Its not true. You cant become an army General without attaining an institution at least equivalent to Masters degree.

There seems to be a calculated attempt by PDP to spread fake news and sensationalise a simple electoral issue into something major.

They have been spreading all manner of fake news everywhere and mostly those who are not even in Osun are helping to spread them further as they add their own salt and pepper to the stories.

The final results won't even be close. PDP won the elections on the 22nd. This is just meant to be the final interment of APC Osun. Surprised some people thought they could be resurrected today.

The APC knows that there are three polling units in Orolu where PDP is likely to win all, so they are trying to use thugs to stop people from voting in those units. But where are the police and other security forces?
If Orolu people don't vote today, then this election must continue to be inconclusive. INEC take note.

There was an earlier attempt by some PDP thugs to raid the ward 5 unit 17 in Osogbo the polling unit I was at earlier but the police were able to send them running with repeated gunshots into the air.

This election is a dirty tussle but I am loving it grin

Personally I think the shooting is uncall for, I see this as victimisation of the people around there.
This is may fair/lagere road from what I see, I can sight slot , ace supermarket, airtel and the rest, and from where I am here in ibadan I can guess the person that record this, did so from a building with the red aluminium roofing, if you Google map it out on your phone you will see it's the only storey building opposite and adjacent to slot, the caption indicates its recorded from the first floor.
Another angle to this is that the security agencies might be pre-emting possible breakdown of law and order there by creating awareness that they are fully on ground to who ever my be nursing such.
